From a dunk vid @ the beach? I won't get too excited about Dwight. He brings issues. Dunking at the beach means little.

Or maybe it's because he's almost 34. When you saw 22 year old Dwight with a cape did you expect to see that elevation over a decade later? Also he's recovering from a down year but yeah, that Dwight is gone. In today's NBA though he can still be an imposing threat around the rim, just not what he once was. He's gonna be a 10pt guy at most All lobs and rolls we just need him out there boarding and defending.

Well that's what my take was and I was not disappointed in seeing that. Like I said 80% Dwight is nothing to sneeze at just like 80% Boogie.

But Kenso did point out the elevation on the over the backboard lob for the dunk. It looked like his neck was over the rim. I think partially he was just chilling and having a good time with it on a warm day at the beach.

Crazy thing is 34 year old Dwight is still more athletic than most 25 year old centers.

If he’s using this season as an audition for one last big contract, maybe he sees there’s money to be made if he just shuts up, sets picks, defends the post, and finish lobs.

Rudy Gobert is a max player and that’s exactly what he does.

the last thing is a really good point. i've worried a bit about dwight's lateral quickness and getting exposed on the perimeter, but gobert's the same and utah builds a strong d around him every year.

    1. Grab rebounds.
    2. Defend.
    3. Communicate.
    4. Take the game serious.
    5. Finish shots around the rim.
If Dwight can do all five of these things, he will be an NBA Champion by the end of next season.

Jeezus Dwight have an In N Out double cheeseburger or a Tommy's chili cheeseburger once in awhile. That can't be healthy.

Hey it’s harder to get in that kind of shape as you get older, so maybe he has turned a page.

Definitely chillin and sandbagging. If anyone thinks he was legit going hard, y'all straight crazy.

He'd look like a fool if he went hard to cause a social media extravaganza&ends up getting hurt in the process of the video.

He wanted to show just enough that it's still "that easy"&his athleticism is there.

Looks to be in great shape&supposed to be 100% healthy right?... IMO, could easily be 90% of peak Dwight athleticism.

houston, too. that's why it's probably best not to have wasted 20 million + per on a paint-protecting center when they can be found at the minimum.

    au contraire

    perhaps the most discouraging part

he did, and he STILL doesn't get it

but he relates to him, and thinks it's ok to broadcast that amongst his 7th "I've changed" campgaign.

As @LTLakerFan says, dude thinks farts are funny. What do we really expect?
