Paul scored on a layup through traffic, and everyone sighed, but that was the beginning of the end. Smith hit a three-pointer. Paul missed an off-balance rushed shot. Jordan missed a dunk. Smith hit an open layup. With 4:44 left, the Clippers still led 102-100, but then Griffin missed a layup, and Corey Brewer scored on a fast break layup to tie the score. Moments later, Griffin missed another layup, and, on the other end, Brewer sunk a three-pointer with J.J. Redick showing up late on defense, giving Rockets a three-point lead they never lost. “They played free, they played desperate,” said Crawford. “Getting the big lead, we stalled a little bit.” In the final minutes, to add insult to embarrassment, Jason Terry made a jumper and screamed at the crowd. Whoever loses this series I'll be happy about it. I don't like either team, and I truly hate Coward and Beard Papas. However, I am so intrigued with the idea of the Paper Clips blowing a 3 to 1 lead. It's too big of a fail for me not to root for.
I would like Warriors' chances much better against Houston than Clippers, and yes that 3 games to 1 "clipping" meltdown for the ages has a nice ring to it don't it?
Clippers-Warriors would be more fun to watch. They have a nice little rivalry brewing. The Rockets are just unwatchable. Hate how they play basketball.
Yes I agree with all of that. Just really really want to see Warriors come out of the west, personally.

Can't stand Harden. Has there ever been a "superstar" average more FT made per game than shots made? Harden's scoring 24.5 ppg on 6.7 shots made and 8.7 free throws made against the Paperclips. 41% shooting this series as well. That's just shocking to me how reliant he is on free throws. During the regular season, Harden made 8 shots per game and 8.8 free throws per game and for his CAREER, he averages 5.8 made shots and 6.1 free throws made. Kobe, for his career, averages 8.8 shots made per game and 6.4 free throws made per game. Even Jordan averaged 11.4 shots made per game and only 6.8 made free throws. When you make more FTs than FGs for your career, that just screams manufactured superstar to me.
shoe bringing the thunder. so tired of hearing about harden the superstar or harden the mvp. I'm sure he'll have a big day tomorrow, and everyone will forget how meh he's been throughout the playoffs.
I don't see the Clippers winning. Winning a game 7 on the road is so difficult. Throw in the mindset of blowing that game 6 lead and I think they're done. If they do win, I'll actually give them some credit. But honestly, I'd rather them lose so I can keep on bashing CP2 for never getting out of the 2nd round.
They took care of the Spurs in game 7 (at home but still). If the refs stay clear, Clipps got it. GSW matches up better with the Sprockets though.
I need these teams to lose. In fact, if there's some way Clips, Houston, and Cleveland can all lose, I'll be satisfied.
