Since we didn't sign a 3rd star...Kuzma needs to grow into that role.

I don't think he is close to a superstar but if he becomes a solid 3rd all-star ish player, that would do it for us.

    Kuz starting scenario:
    LBJ
    Green
    Kuz
    AD
    Cousins
(2nd Unit that will never play all together lol)
    Rondo/Quinn
    Bradley
    KCP
    Dudley
    McGee

Part of me wants to handcuff Rondo&conserve him as much as possible to use down the road.

What I do love about the lot of depth that we have is allow us to perhaps play aggresively not worried about fouls as much&/or keeping guys fresh with more rotations. Good problem to have.

Next question is who gets the final roster spot, I'd love to have a taller wing, Iggy is a dream.
Daniels is 6'7 so he could also play SF.
LBJ,Green could also guard SF's, we'll be good. Hella stoked doe y'all!

With LeBron playing PG the following starting lineups make the most sense (some have Kuzma in, some have him off the bench):

    1) Option A:
    PG-LeBron
    Guard-Bradley
    Guard-Green
    PF-AD
    C-McGee
    Bench:
    PG-Cook/Rondo
    SG-KCP/Daniels
    F-Kuzma
    F-Dudley
    F/C-Boogie

    2) Option B:
    PG-LeBron
    Guard-Bradley
    Guard-Green
    PF-Kuzma
    F/C-AD
    Bench:
    PG-Cook/Rondo
    SG-KCP/Daniels
    F-Dudley
    F/C-Cousins
    C-McGee

    3) Option C
    PG-LeBron
    SG-Green
    SF-Kuzma
    PF-AD
    C-McGee
    Bench:
    PG-Bradley/Cook/Rondo
    SG-KCP/Daniels
    F-Dudley
    F/C-Boogie

    4) Option D
    PG-LeBron
    SG-Green
    SF-Kuzma
    PF-AD
    C-Boogie
    Bench:
    PG-Bradley/Cook/Rondo
    SG-KCP/Daniels
    F-Dudley
    C-McGee

There’s other linup permutations but these ones seem the most appealing.

I actually think that Kuzma does not need to be a 3rd star for us. He needs to be an elite role player / 6th man for us though like Lou Williams is for the Clippers.

Also, if he's able to improve defensively and guard 3's and 2's...he'll take that next step.

Really looking forward to seeing Kuzma grow as a player - he's our shot at being the best team in the L (along with Boogie finding his groove again)

I'm definitely leaning Option A right now, but still need to see it on the Floor.

I’d love to see Caruso get run. I didn’t forget about him, I’m just not sure who dresses most nights between him and Rondo.

If it’s option A Kuzma should be in the running for 6MOY

    This

Spurs brought manu off the bench for about a 1/3 of his career, and even in a few of his very good seasons.

We need someone who can score off the bench and he should be closing games if he continues to grow

I'm hoping Kuz becomes an elite 6th man who can provide a reliable scoring punch off the bench. I think Boogie is more likely to be that 3rd star, assuming he can stay on the floor.

This is my feeling as well. I love Kuz, but man Boogie even at 80% is a beast and our undisputed 3rd option
