We got Mcgee (which is huge for us). Hes going to provide much needed relief for AD.if we can hopefully bring back rondo.

Do recall this though: PG to the Lakers last offseason was not really an option due to the tampering charges. Seems like he wanted to get to LA all along, and now seized his chance to get there. Just a year later.

Kawhi got intimidated by 35 year old Bron? LOL, loser mentality.

AD will be our guy for years to come and he wanted to be here.

I wish the entire Clup organization, including West to keep failing, because that’s what Clippers do.

Our duo is stronger then theirs anyway. And man, Russ got screwed. Thought PG was his best friend? Hehehe.

@ReggieHurley Not explicitly prevented, but they were scared to cross Adam Silver, who was furious at what the Lakers had done in the summer prior.

We will be able to sign another max guy to pair with AD when Bron retires with Pelinka's cap management, time to move on from Kawhi, put this thread in NBA Discussion where it belongs in the next day or so. We need to concentrate on what moves are left. Green is a done deal, a bit more than I would prefer to pay but it's market value for him. Maybe even slightly less. I'd like to see Boogie on a min or MLE. Turn a new leaf, play some D and a more team oriented game, he can do it, man has talents. We can fill the void of Kawhi with guys like that Green, Boogie, JR on a min, Korver on a min, still 17 mil for another player or 2. With refreshed and hungry LBJ and a hungry AD and a hopefully improving Kuzma .....a squad of guys like that can make the difference.

Damn. Woke up to this. Brutal....

Better for the league I guess, more parity. For first time the league is wide open. Paul George is such a joke though it’s incredible.

Eff PG and eff Kawhi. Playoff Pee is essentially Playoff poo. Lol. He couldn’t do squat against Lebron in the lopsided East and subsequently teamed up with Westbrook just to lay multiple goose eggs. Lost to Jazz and their rookie Mitchell in the first round last year? Are you effin kidding me??

I’m really proud of our FO for going all out. Hats off to them. They left no stone unturned. If they had to do this all over again, I would still back them unconditionally. It’s a no win situation for them really. We would have put them on blast if they didn’t pursue the snake. They showed us that they sincerely cared about improving the team and I’m sure majority of lakernation wanted this to go down as well. Our goals were congruent, so please don’t take any shots at the FO.

They didn’t let the fans down and tried to do everything humanly possible to get this done. They got played, the Raptors got played, free agents in the waiting got played, our fans and raptor fans got played.

Karma is undefeated, unfortunately. You never mess with the basketball Gods and think you got the upper hand. We have AD and Bron, maybe we lost sight of the gifts we have and got greedy in the process. Maybe we inadvertently slighted Ad and Bron and gave too much attention to the ruthless snake.

The mofo almost got obliterated by Philly, with a banged up Embiid. It required a lucky bounce or the rub of the green to see them thru. They beat GSW with only steph holding fort. We will bounce back from this and we will be stronger and more resolute with some valuable lessons learnt. Two snakes unite together with our wannabe rival across the hall. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Can’t wait for the NBA season to get underway already.

We will eat humble pie for now, since all these azz-wipes (biased media members and haters) will gloat at our expense. But we will eventually have the last laugh and watch these turds get waylaid by laker royalty.

Ride with the Purple and Gold till I die....

Morning guys (It's Night here in PH) I know it has been shocking for all of us, and I like to share my thoughts about what happened. yea it's a bummer but you know what I think It's for the best for our beloved Lakers. Jeanie and Rob should learn how to do business next time. I won't do specifics since we already know it. And they should learn how to do their jobs, and not rely only on the "LAKER BRAND". That Brand can't keep us up, now that there is competition right across the hall, I hope now they should bring their game up. I hope It's a lesson for our FO and they should learn what to do next time. I'm glad that they didn't fck up the signings and recalibrating for 2021 FA Class. I hope they can bring someone that time.
