^ of course, Bulls and GSW/Grizz would be a really good series either way.

The only coach who doubled the post on a regular basis against the Grizz was Pop in 13 .... Memphis was swept .

It seems a very obvious thing to do ... I'm with you , I have no idea why every single team doesn't do it

The latest 4 champions were , more or less, jump shooting teams ... The difference with GS is these teams had players who could attack the basket/get to the FT line and occasionally posted up ( Dirk/Lebron/Wade/Parker/Duncan/Leonard).

The ball doesn't get below the FT line with GS on lots of possessions , it's tough to win it all this way .

When GS wins they destroy you with shooting.
when they play bad they look like a bunch of kids who got to the playoffs by mistake.
I want GS to go the to finals, but right now they look too weak inside against Memphis. when the 3pt shot dosent get in they look horrible. is David Lee not coming back? they could really use him against Randolph.

It's not quite as easy to pack the paint against the Grizz like it was in the past.

Mike Conley has improved to a 38.6% 3pt shooter this season. Courtney Lee shoots 40% on 3's. Of course, they aren't as good as Thompson and Curry in that department, but when you combine their percentages with a big man like Gasol who's an expert passer, it's not something teams want to try unless they have to. And if they do it, they probably try it on Z-bo first.

Conley will get the Grizz to the finals at this rate. I know they have a great two way backcourt, but i didn't expect that to be the game changer in may and june. Also, Memphis has the smartest front court in the playoffs. Z-bo is abusing the Warriors. He's embarrassing their "front court." A Memphis-Chicago Finals would be fun.

Don't count GS out so fast. Live by the 3, die by the 3, but if betting on the Splash Bros to make it or miss it, I'm going all in that they make it. Long series. They'll make adjustments.

I'm pretty sure they will make some adjustments and win one in Memphis. This will likely go 7.

The league absolutely don't want to see Memphis in the Finals though
Yes ... but Tony Allen , Jeff Green , Vince and Udrih are also on the floor ... Players who can't shoot the 3 during this postseason and/or during their career ...

plus Memphis wouldn't take a lot of threes even if a lot were good looks as it isn't its brand of ball ... not a good thing for any offense to pass on open shots ...forced shots , TOs/shot clock violations would happen .... something we have seen a lot with the Grizz down the stretch these latest seasons .

The only one of those you've mentioned that starts for them against the Warriors is Allen, their top dog perimeter defender. And he shot 34.5% from 3pt range this season.

Shooting 3's may not be a huge part of their offense, but they're not Rajon Rondo's that you can just leave and pay no attention to.

Yes, but it's probably a better option to make them change their game plan and force them to shoot more outside shots. And if they end up hitting 15 threes, good for them. But it's probably not going to happen.

Yeah, I think GS has to double down more often. It paid big dividends in their cutting down Memphis' double digit lead. If it seems like I'm waffling with my "likes" up there it's just that I like both teams so much. I've liked Memphis for some time, but they didn't seem to quite have that magic combination of players and experience until now. They always gave the opposition a tough time in the playoffs but now they look poised to take it to the next level. But I've really fallen for GS this year - that backcourt is just so dynamic. I just love this series and hope very much that it goes the distance of 7 games. It's just so fun to watch. These two teams demonstrate what's right about the league: real basketball skills, great teamwork, superb passing and good shooting. To me the Floppers and Rockets are poster children of what's wrong with it: whiny, entitled, jerky stars.

Pau vs Marc finally after all these years for ultimate bragging rights. Who's Moms gonna root for? HA! Seriously though hope Pau's hammy is not as bad as Paul's and just tweaked a tiny bit that they can fix enough and wrap for him. Cleveland won't go easy, nor ECF. Nor GS, nor WCF.

The one little thing that honesty concerns me about the Warriors is that the team with the MVP doesn't win the title much anymore. Before LeBron did it, no MVP's team had won since Duncan in '03, and Shaq in 2000.

Memphis/GS vs Wiz/Atl/Bulls would the first NBA final since I began watching the NBA (late 90s) that I would be able to enjoy without strongly rooting for one team to win (Lakers) or another team to lose (Spurs/Cavs/Miami).

I said it from the start, I feel Grizzlies will beat them.. I highly doubt they'll win in Memphis. Sure the splash brothers will make some incredible 3's... but that isn't gonna save them. I like GS, but I feel the Grizz have their number.

I feel like it's going to come down to this game 4. If GS ties this up I think they will win the series. If they lose to go down 3-1 they are cooked.

GS starting the game with Bogut "defending" Tony Allen. lmao.

Also, GS made it a point to double team this game.
