    That cuffs guy also posted the scene from Boyz in the Hood where Cuba Gooding Jr. bails out from the revenge ride. I'm guessing Kawhi is out. Which sucks.

    Two days ago that rdambition fool on reddit, cuffs, and several other (probably misinformed media folks) were all about kawhi to the Lakers. Maybe now he had a change of heart from his day in toronto.

    Still hoping we land KL, but if we don’t I hope they sign Boogie and make a low key splash. I vividly recall Boogie being one of the main back up targets this FA (along with Butler) if we struck out on marquee FA’s and AD. Get Korver, Morris and Rondo on 1 yr deals and let’s kick some mofos.

    He posted that tweet about Boyz in the Hood yesterday around noon before there was this much buzz about him returning to Toronto. He simply said it was a great scene.

    And then 3 days ago he posted this.



    Maybe we shouldn’t read so much into everything he says?

    If we were given the option to be here in the top 2 (Yea nah Clips sit this one out) to get Kawhi to pair with Lebron/AD, I’m guessing A LOT of you guys would sign up for it.

    Gotta play it out.

    Rondo / Cook / Caruso
    Green / KCP / Daniels
    Lebron / Iggy / Korver
    AD / Kuzma / Dudley
    Boogie / McGee / Williams

    And if you were told this could be the roster going into the playoffs next season, A LOT of you guys would be ecstatic about that too.

    All this is still on the table guys. We are still in a great position.

    Well, maybe if our front office wasn't the 29th biggest joke in the NBA (nothing is worse than the Knicks) and Magic hadn't run his mouth on First Take and called our GM a backstabber, then the Raptor's front office wouldn't have looked so special by comparison and it would have been enough for Kawhi to come here. If he reups with Toronto, I don't think that's just about Kawhi being weird. Our front office (and ownership) aren't blameless here.

    And I still haven't given up hope. So maybe this ends up being moot.
