    pretty sure this is being handled completely different than any other situation involving a big name FA given how much kawhi's people care about leaks and being able to trust the FO people

    the clippers had lawrence frank stalk kawhi for an entire year and they're still in the running so i guess kawhi/his people don't mind stalker-ish behavior

    @LA Bron Uncle Dennis's counter point to that was that Kawhi has received tremendous exposure this past week due to his free agency, so it's possible.

    There’s a growing crowd outside of the hotel where they plan to meet. Since Kawhi’s camp wanted to keep everything in the down low, this is kind of a good thing for us.

    I kind of agree with UD here. The scale isn't the same, but I'm pretty well connected in the Esports world and recently some really powerful marketing has come out utilizing the more reserved players. They connect with an crowd that isn't tapped as often and don't usually come with baggage from the past/present/future.

    I don't think he would be on the level of the more charismatic folks in basketball by any means, but I think his growth scale can look very similar to it if they do a good job with it.
