    1. Load management - 2 of the top 5-7 players as your teammates. No need to carry the load and can take nights off completely. ---Check.
    2. Loyalty to their stars - Paid Kobe an exhorbitant amount of money as a thank you. ----check. Hired Magic even though he had zero experience and didn't attack back at Magic even after Magic sh*t on them in public ---check.
    3. Endorsements off the court - people in the philiphines erected a billboard for you. --- check
    4. Chance to win now - see #1.
    5. Max contract or very very close to it - check.
    6. Hometown - check.

With all the above, if Kawhi doesn't want in on this...oh well. I am not sweating this. Whatever.

Would like to point out, even if we don't get Kawhi and we get decent role players, (Marcus Morris, Rondo, Javale, Danny Green, Boogie, Kelly Oubre, Dwight) to name a few. Not a doomsday if we don't get him fellas, not saying that people on here are acting like that but just saying.

Lakers fans the last few nights...
Usually it's a bit of hyperbole when the phrase "<insert name> or bust" is used, but in this case it is absolutely to the point.

Why should Kawhi hurry just because you're impatient? Players in the past have drawn this out past the 4th. Relax.

Promotional material from New Balance on a Kawhi-Lakers signing is ready, along with relevant marketing campaigns. Though past inventory and campaign templates exist on the Raptors front, comparable work has not been done re: a Clippers or Raptors decision. Part of the rationale behind such early preparation is due to the worldwide scale of a Lakers-related promotion.

Agreed. This is the man's life and he's got every right to take his time. At this point with the available FAs we'd be splitting hairs on the next 20 guys or so available. We should just let the man do his thing.

He's got a lot to weigh on this decision. He's a historically great basketball player in the prime of his career. This decision will shape the rest of his basketball prime.

Even though we're impatient fans, I don't think it's unreasonable to allow him to take a few days to ponder this choice.

I think the NBA moving up Free Agency to 3 PST on 6/30 and the subsequent frenzy of moves completely altered our perception of how this timetable should work. In the last 10 years, it was pretty common for the biggest FA fish to take 2, 3, 4-plus days to take meetings and choose a team.

In the words of Aaron Rodgers: R-E-L-A-X

He should only rush if it's between the Lakers and the Clippers. Easy decision.

    Tampering changed the game.

Why did we pay all those fines again? Even though Kemba was going to Boston two days before FA?

That isn’t why he should hurry. He should take his time, it’s a huge decision for his life. My point was that I don’t see what could come to light at this point that would change his mind. He knows Toronto, he lived there for a year. He met with both LA teams already.

The longer he waits, the less talent either of the LA teams can get.

@Lakerman JSJ Well said! Although there is frustration among many of the remaining free agents regarding the lingering uncertainty

I could play devil's advocate here, but I don't want to jinx us.
There are plenty of positives & negatives with each decision he could make. I don't think it's an "easy decision" at all.
Clippers were definitely hurt by their inability to get a 2nd Star, so I like our chances.

Not true at all. Every bit of information is interesting.

Try treating the guy with a little more respect. He's giving information that he has on his own free will. If you want some tabloid insider gossip, Arye is on Twitter still.
