You know those Ballmer Bucks are still in circulation until they get a hard no.

You know when reporters add on a positive scouting report, definitely a sign that its the agent feeding the information

On The Jump right now, McMenamin and Ramona.

McMenamin brought up the point that although Kawhi may have meetings set up, he’s wondering if Kawhi even ends up taking the meetings. He could just make his decision without needing a formal meeting.

Ramona acknowledge that she doesn’t know this, and it’s just her speculating, but she thinks that maybe some meetings/conversations have already taken place between Kawhi and the various teams, and at this point his camp is kind of using this as a loyalty test to see what, if anything, starts getting leaked.

@The Rock From my understanding, Haynes generally gets his information directly from players/agents. Other reporters are more connected to front offices. Of course it's not black and white.

    Clippers won’t do that.

They would need two guarantees from players. If Kawhi says no to Lakers, Lakers can throw that max at Butler who I’m sure would enjoy playing with Lebron and AD more than just Kawhi. Then what for the Clippers?

actually I've heard they can just stretch Gallinari's contract to get there. No trade necessary if it comes to that

@Helljumper Based on today's meeting, I could see Kawhi committing sooner if he is feeling good about the Lakers FO. Like I said aside from the FO drama they're his number 1 choice. Raptors only have the leg up on that front. As far as I have heard he has not spoken to Jeanie directly yet, but maybe he has and I just didn't hear about it. I'd imagine he would want to talk to her before he makes the final call. I could see the Clippers being left out now that Kevin Durant has committed to the Nets, and Kawhi probably already knows everything he needs to know about the Raptors. Again, this is all my personal opinion, though.

If we turn around and sign D'Lo and another nice piece with the rest of the cap space, we're still better.

Yep, actually seems plausible to me, which is why I wasn’t happy Magic was leaking immediately any info he’d gotten to ESPN yesterday.

So it's a forgone conclusion that Butler would rather play with Lebron then Kawhi? You talking to these guys personally...LMAO

Nah, we haven’t had any leaks for a while now. The actual FO has been on lockdown since the Lue hiring process, and Jeanie has only spoken once for a minute at the NBA awards. Magic might have a big mouth, but he doesn’t work for the FO. If we have had any meeting or conversations with Kawhi as an actual organization, zero of it has leaked.

Maybe Kawhi wanted to speak with Magic and the Lakers separately so he can see that Magic was the problem with the leaks, not the Lakers.
