The money these roleplayers are getting seems to be what I expected. That’s always what we were facing if we went the “split the cap room for depth” route. It would realistically only allow for 2 high quality role players.

REdick is worth 13 mil a year. He was huge for philly last year and kept them in games against the craps. 13 million is very reasonable

Seems like it because last we heard Danny wanted to wait on Kawhi to see if he's staying in TOR

The pace of the free agency spend fest can work out in our favor. Teams can’t spend forever. There are going to be guys that will take what we can offer after signing Kawhi.

Wow at the Pels. I hope they bring Randle back. If they have health will be a big story next year. Downside is BSPN will have to put LaVar back on if they don't relent and do it sooner.

People are really going to get themselves suspended or banned over questionable news sources?

    I blame Lebron tbh

    And he’s my favorite player

Could just be a matter of him changing his stance on waiting for Kawhi now that he’s actually hearing tangible offers from other teams.

Feel like Green and Curry are the only shooters still on the board right now. If we strike out on Kawhi we’re going to be hurting.

Yes, we need this outrageous spending to occur, and as the money runs out, our scout and analytics team that spent a ton of time on pending free agents will fill out a solid roster of complimentary pieces.

No surprises here except the dollar amounts, but if they were getting more than the minimum, we weren’t sniffing them anyways.

Ooooh I like the sound of that. Danny will hold off and join him here motivated by his enjoyment playing with Kawhi?

I understand that, but imagine if we only had $27M and no Kawhi. Getting two role players like JJ is not equal to a max player.

The debate on whether we get one max or build the roster out would only really buy us two role players based on the market. That’s not really that great.

Which lends its hand to why we need to get a max to put next to AD when Lebron hangs it up. Two role players and AD will just make him change his mind about resigning.

I think this comment means he’ll go back to the Raptors if Kawhi does, otherwise...show me the money.

Just because Redick cost 13 million doesn't mean you have to pay someone else the same lol...

Let's be honest here, the only player worth not filling out the roster with solid 3 and D guys to spend max money on is the Klaw. Other then that the Lakers should spend that money on a few vets to fill out the roster.

I feel like he’s trolling to get viewers to The Jump and is just going to say something about Ice Cube’s Big 3 league. But in the unlikely scenario that he actually has a scoop, what other Big 3 could there be?
