    100% agree.

If I were Kawhi, I’d have some questions about Pelinka. The backstabbing comments would raise a red flag. I’d want to get to the bottom of it.

With that said I’m a supporter of Rob. I’m just a random internet person, but a couple of folks at where I work are ex-AEG guys. The other day I was talking to one of them about Rob and he told me that Rob doesn’t have the best reputation. He’s known for being a backstabber. Some might call it cutthroat?

Pelinka didn't back stab anyone. Magic Johnson was an absentee boss who got called out and than put out that b******* to cover his a**. It's not rocket science.

    More AEG references?

but for real, if you do hear that from MANY SOURCES, where there is smoke, there is fire. There is also professional jealousy, but if you represent a super-mega star like Kobe Bryant, you probably have such great demands on your time that you have to cut through the crap with people real quick like, and I'm sure it has rubbed thousands the wrong way.

I actually agree with you. I’m referring to Magic’s comments and why I lost respect for him.

Just hope Kawhi doesn't hold us hostage too long. If he decides to stay put but takes forever to make that decision Lakers might end up with teh short end of the stick on FAs to fill out the rest of the roster. A private verbal commitment would suffice lol

In my mind, it's exciting either way, if Kawhi say yes then great,if he says no then we move on to different other FAs with 32M

Agreed but he needs to make that choice asap before most of the best/role players are gone. He could keep the lakers on the hook for a week and then return to Toronto, that would be all bad..

I have faith that Rob will pick out the perfect Bible story for this tho.

Pharoah and the 10 Plagues might work. "Let me people go"

This doesn’t make me feel good at all. Obviously can’t jump to conclusions, but we had a window there to go after Griffin, Masai, Meyers, etc. instead we doubled down on Laker loyalty and stuck to Rob and the Rambii.

Magic set himself up to look good by leaking that he got the call from Kawhi's camp. Now Rob's people are leaking this so Rob can also take some credit when it's done.

He's probably having lunch with Heath Ledger right now to discuss the matter further...

Rob Pelinka represented some of the best players in the league guys. If he can do anything well, it's schmooz a player. If that's true^ the road blocks seem somewhat superficial.

Pretty much aligns with exactly what I heard and posted here, except focus is more on Jeanie and Magic and less on Rob, as far as I know.

I'm not getting any sleep with free agency coming up!

    Best,
    Mr. Rambis

I think about it like this....It's totally possible for us to get both Butler, and Seth Curry.... who can we get along with Dlo who is as good as those two?
