Pretty broad brush and dismissive statement, considering Kawhi is going to need to believe that Rob as Kobe says has the smarts and skills to build a team with lots of vacancies presently around this triumvirate of superstars ..... versus what (Lord) Ujiri can do around just Kawhi in Toronto going forward.

So where are all the “Clippers scrambling to trade Gallinari for no salary back” narratives???

My point is simple. Kawhi already knows the Laker brand and the potentials for his business. He knows what Lebron and AD bring to table. Uncle Dennis knows and loves Magic. Sure, one could have the position that it's Magic's fault for bringing the internal problems to light, but Pelinka's weird stories aside, dude is not a seasoned gm and his inability to be trusted is why we're here in the first place. That's my very unpopular stance.

The day has come. Time to close the deal and get the final piece of our dynasty in place. All the prep has led to this moment. Make a lot of people very sorry for their BS narratives.

    Get. Jacked. Up.

His inability to be trusted got us a team with LeBron, AD, and 32m in space. It got a massively complicated deal done with 4 different teams.

The question has to be asked then: What will he do when everyone trusts him?

Look, I know continuing this discussion is a downer and nobody's going to change their minds over this, but as I said previously, Pelinka is to be commended for getting us the max space. Having said that, I don't credit him for Lebron and AD like you do. Not trying to be negative but I have a hard time reading these random hate posts on Magic.

Yea, if Pelinka employs some mamba mentality he learned from Kobe to the front office job then a dynasty era is setting up now.

LOL there would be no hate posts on Magic and they ain't "random" if he hadn't been a total *** and subversive to the Lakers in the way he left.

Now he goddamn well better fix that impression he left in Kawhi's camp.

I’m with @lakerssteve on this one. Jury’s still out on Rob. Sure, he swung the trade to get AD and cap space, but he gave up EVERYTHING to get it. Completely worth it in my view, but that’s different than fleecing teams for it. Meanwhile, he had NOTHING to do with LeBron coming here, other teams don’t like dealing with him due to his history as an agent, and he appears to be the one thing still giving Kawhi reservations about joining a Lakers superteam that is almost guaranteed to win MULTIPLE championships.

He could end up being the greatest GM ever and believe me I have no dog in this fight, but right now his record is inconclusive at best.

I dont hate Magic at all, but he purposely went on nation television and torched the franchise. We have every right to be upset at him for that. Doesn't mean I overlook his contributions to the franchise or the sport. He's still possibly the greatest Laker of all time.

Me too. So, what happens if Kawhi doesn't sign with us, and Mr.Rambis was correct in that the reason being was pretty much only the magic drama? I mean, if we miss out on Kawhi after ALL the boxes are checked, but the magic public drama scared him away....dude...LB might lynch Vash in displaced anger.
