I'm concerned they can't meet together. Like cops interviewing suspects separately to see how the stories confirm or deviate.

Magic would rather come in and look like the guy that sold Kawhi on joining the Lakers than the guy who ruined any chance. I'm not happy with Magic, but I'm not worried about him pouring more gasoline on this. His ego is too big and he wants that credit.

Thanks for the props. But I was primed for this one. I worship Magic but he REALLY let me down with all that nonsense. The fact that he did it before free agency made it all the worse. So I was waiting to see if it was going to have a real world effect on the team’s future and it looks like it still might. It’s on him to clean this up and I guess we’ll know real soon if he pulls it off.

 

Certainly Lakerfan will never trash that mural but I could definitely see Clipperfan hitting it. As @LaVarBallsDad is fond of saying, "Don't go getting attached to it"

 

Stein was on the Ringer Podcast TWO DAYS AGO saying nobody knows anything about what Kawhi wants.

 

I'm getting so f***ing tired of the s*** ESPN's shoveling. First, Kawhi doesn't want to team up. Wants to beat em not join em. Ok, I can respect that and kind of expected he'd be that type of cat. Then he does want to team up anyone anywhere but with the Lakers. I'm honestly surprised they haven't floated team up ideas with him going to the Cavs.

If he's teaming up, nothing competes with our team up option.

Haven't seen this much scrambling since watching Vick in his prime.

 

Someone is going to mess it up. It might even be some stupid teenager Laker fan, because it'll be cool and stuff (insert something hip there).

 

THIS. My buddies were fretting over this on our Lakers chain and I had to step in to point out that in the time it took me to take a s***, it went from Kawhi and KD on the Clippers to Kawhi and Butler. Just because the Clippers are flailing and the reality of their misery is finally setting in among the top brass there, it doesn’t mean the media need to follow suit. At this point i’m not even sure why I want Kawhi on this team more: to win championships, or to shut all these imbecilic journalists up.

AEG is pretty sure this isn't a coincidence! The Clippers are pretty desperate here folks, especially since all the big time FAs are likely looking elsewhere at this point!
