For me it's the insider types who are constantly boasting about how amazing they are. It goes back to my Five Guys analogy, I don't need all the self boasting when I go get a burger. Thanks, I'll stick to In n Out from now on.

With Mr. Rambis, he came in here respectfully, looking for other Lakers fans saying he wanted to share the information he was getting with other fans and have some good discussions. If you read his posts, he is respectful to the site, the mods, and the members and just comes in a drops the information he hears.

Well, in the case of RDA, it’s my understanding anyway that he has been right before, so he’s built a little credibility. He also just seems to share his info and duck out. I think the hate for Arye comes from him going around waving his tweets in people’s faces if he came anywhere close to calling something. You don’t think acting like a tool/jerk to people who “doubted” you all over Twitter is the main reason for any vitriol?

Yeah, you’re probably right. Before, Arye was treated solely with skepticism. The increased vitriol towards him has correlated with his increased douchiness as of late.

At any rate, he doesn’t deserve close to this much attention especially in a thread where we’re celebrating some great moves for our franchise. Sorry for the sidetrack.

In the interest of fairness, I think it would be only right to post this. I still don’t really trust him because of the way he goes about things, puffing himself up, deleting stuff that didn’t happen, but it is what it is.

I hope this cap space debacle shows everyone to not take the media too seriously! Remember my earlier posts about how the 3rd team stuff would cause the Lakers to shift to a plan B?

There was never any "scrambling." Be careful of the media driven narratives everyone!

Relatively healthy. He’s not going to play every single game, most likely.

If we get Kawhi, he wouldn’t need to play nearly as much and go through triple teams nightly.

After 6 years of no food whatsoever, AD doesn't begin to feed our hunger. He's like just a small part of the meal we need to be satisfied.

Oh honey have I got a surprise for you. :D

This man alone makes us a contender with LeBron. You get Kawhi and we're not just eating our fill, we're gluttonous enough to fulfill Wall-E's prophecy.

Yeah you don’t just get the two of the top 3 players in PER in the history of the NBA and not get anywhere.
