Space can be used with exceptions renounced in the case of cap space. Moe and Bonga just as easily could have aggregated to a higher salaried player and then combined with the priniciple of Zo/Bi/Hart to get to AD's number all the same.

So either way you look at it JJ was not needed in the deal for it to work.

Kawhi Leonard coming to the Lakers puts to rest that piece of s*** in San Antonio for good. He can go into retirement knowing his meddling in other people's business finally got thrown back into his crater face.

It also finally slaps that, woman abusing enabler in the work place, in Dallas and all those owners who ruined Kobe's end song with the CP3 veto and their constant tampering BS they threw at the Lakers for the last 3 years.

I have zero sympathy for those in the media and those in the front office in the league.

I will cheer on the Lakers like I never have before for them to destroy all teams on their way to winning titles in bunches for the next decade.

God bless and I hope you all suffer greatly.

Are you just ignoring that Atlanta said No to the ideal plan? On to plan B or please explain how he should then have solved the max cap logistics? How you would have guaranteed done it better hypothetically?

Cap space is not a factor if a trade puts you over the cap. The 125% plus 100k rule kicks in if a trade causes you to go over the cap or remain over the cap. Since the max contract happens first, then the AD trade is guaranteed to cause us to end up over the cap once completed, and hence the 125% plus 100k rule must be satisfied meaning JJ was essential to barely meet the minimum outgoing salary to take on AD's salary and end up over the cap post-trade.

Are you refering to some other option that could have spared JJ?

I know some of you guys are gonna get triggered with this...

But this was before RDAmbition’s post:

Don’t attack me, I still think he’s probably a fraud ... but he hasn’t really said anything fraudulent so far this summer and most of what he’s said has been relatively accurate, some things before it was reported in the mainstream.

    Actually...

Imo this kid throws a lot of stuff out there, then goes back and deletes what didn’t match, highlights what did, props himself up. He stalked a player as like a teenager one time, he may have lucked into some info once or guessed right and that’s his claim to fame, he’s not an insider.

Classic...deleting your own bad tweets to make you look totally accurate, just so you can turn around a boast how you said something.

My triggered has turned into vindication. Let's ban posts from that hack once and for all.

Now I'm triggered again...I wasted my 100th post on that clown.

I was going to write the greatest, most well thought out post ever...which would have inevitably gotten a site record on likes :LLLLLebronsniveling:

Yep. We have Lebron, AD, and Kuzma along with a max slot. Who called it doesn't matter.

I've never understood it. Breaking stories that will be made public anyway no mater what is pretty meaningless to me. Oh wow, you knew six hours early about something that was literally announced at a press conference on TV.

I wouldn't be surprised if he cultivated a couple sources here and there. The kid's probably been at it for years, to the point that he stalked Dwight Howard for a scoop. Let him live imo. I respect the hustle, in today's 24/7 news cycle you gotta make a name for yourself somehow. I'm sure teams are noticing.

I find it somewhat hypocritical that the same Lakers fans who want LethalShooter as the Lakers' shooting coach at least understand his shameless self promotion despite not agreeing with his style, but can't afford the same leeway to the Arye kid. Isn't he in law school? He'll probably find his way to a job within the Lakers at some point.

And if he's deleting old stuff and being shady, it'll all catch up to him just like it did with Chad Ford

Yeah I think it’s lame to try to take credit for breaking a story first, and obviously lame as hell to go back and delete posts to make you look more credible. Just find it a little odd how people will buy into one unestablished “insider” and get up in arms when someone posts another unestablished “insider”. Like RDA’s information could have very well been about discussions involving Beal at that point too. It was a pretty vague post.

I think at the end of the day we all enjoy “insiders” like Mr. Rambis because it’s fun to buy in albeit with a healthy dose of skepticism. So why the reverence for some, and the vitriol for others? I guess it’s easier to dislike someone you can put a face to.
