So I do think Arye is a fraud ... but I’m pretty sure he was the first person to mention anything about a Russell reunion.

    Pincus on the 15th: https://bleacherreport.com/articles...r-in-anthony-davis-but-what-comes-next-for-la

He has one throwaway sentence that the Lakers may end up with $27 million in cap space which would fit DLo’s max.

    Arye on the 21st:

Actually claims Lakers have strong interest in Russell.

    Pincus on the 22nd:

Now Pincus is also hearing the Russell interest, a day after Arye reports it. Then I think we start hearing similar things from Woj and Windy.

I agree, we need to give our FO the opportunity to sink or swim. I have not been totally on board myself. I get the frustration, but so much of it is buying into the narrative that some really lousy media pundits are making that have really messed with my head. I would trust waiting and seeing, way more than I trust anything the media is pushing on us. I wish others would see that.

You’d think it would at least get us a meeting with him

It's happening and will further escalate the closer it gets to D-Day

So I'm saying by Friday afternoon the media will start their 180s and say we have a chance at Kawhi.

I can put “Lakers are interested in (insert free agent here)” and add “sources say” all day too. If I’m right, I look like a saint, if I’m wrong, whatever it’s Twitter.

Sure. But you saying that for a free agent we weren’t previously linked to, and then the same story being legitimately picked up by the national media the next day would be an interesting coincidence.

The DLo s*** all started from the Kuz troll eyes tweet and DLo happened to like it, so s*** spread crazy from there.

Again look at the receipts...NBATwitter runs wild with it and then mom & pop sauce shops get their special ingredient and then repackage it for mass consumption.

Of course AD started following DLo shortly thereafter which fanned the flames.

But this rumor all started from hot ayre...insert Kuz eyeroll here.

It is, but like I said, it’s really not anything that requires insider information or a source. Again, Ayre’s track record shows differently, and the fact that Pincus called him out is even more telling of what most think of this kid. He’s a clickbait wannabe insider.

He was nowhere near the insider that Mr. Rambis was for us. Hell, he legitimized Lakersball.com for having a real source, where Arye has none lol.

Again lol, I reiterate that I think Arye is a fraud. Just think some of the circle jerk against him is a bit too much. I don’t think Pincus “ethered” him.

Don’t want to be too controversial here, but I feel that Arye and Mr. Rambis have some similarities. Neither have said anything that definitively proves their insider status. Both have posted general statements that give them outs in case it doesn’t turn out to be true.

Exactly. Keeping things vague and generalized hides better when you are a phony.

Think psychics and astrologists. Or even religious preachers. All can own you without doing s***.

Wait, are you suggesting the interest in Dlo is all fabricated? Because...

My fear is that waiting for Kawhi decision ( if he's taking meetings with teams , it won't the quickest one) is going to make us missed on the best role players available .

Would be Summer 2014 all over again

This time around, good players might actually wait few days (because we have Bron and AD now) before signing the first deal presented. Would be stupid to sign with Hawks or Minny on day one ;)
