I think Kawhi also values loyalty and that's one thing the Clips do not have going for them. Would he want to go to a franchise that traded one of their most popular players 6 months after telling him he would retire as a Clip. I'm sure that's in the back of Uncle Dennis's mind.

didn't the clippers have someone literally stalk kawhi from one arena to another last season?

i mean i still think he's going to sign with them but damn, wouldn't you be a little wary about that?

Woj is the best in the biz at breaking news on moves that are near completion or just completed. Once he introduces his analysis on things, it is much more "hit & miss"...

Now, we're dealing with the most enigmatic NBA player in the history of ever. Color me skeptical, though I'm a Lakers homer so at least 30% of that is wishful thinking.

Woj is such a damn hater. He sounds almost mad at the idea we could get Kawhi, “they don’t even have the money!”. 3rd wheel? That’s laughable speculation, Kawhi Leonard isn’t going to be a 3rd wheel anywhere, if anything he takes over as the guy pretty quickly and one of the others turns 3rd wheel or it’s a pretty even thing like in GS.

That "3rd wheel" remark is Woj basically telling on himself. However he can paint the possibility of Kawhi joining something special like this Lakers squad into something negative, he's pouncing on it. It's really unfortunate that Rob pissed in his cereal.

Man, Woj really has it out for us...he's doing EVERYTHING he can to put a negative spin on us.

I actually welcome him saying this...going to be so much sweeter if Kawhi joins us like his sister and cousin have been saying...

Less than 72 hours after being traded. They should bring a screengrab of this to pitch meetings.

Woj and Windy need to grow up ... Being so biased because Lebron and the Lakers don't feed you infos is unprofessional

If I never again heard about all the "Hollywood" opportunities available to players coming to the Lakers, it'd still be too much. Enough with this. It's not a thing. Shaq tried it and it was an unmitigated disaster. Kazaam is literally a punchline. LeBron appears to be the exception that proves the rule, and even that is still a big unknown. No other players have ever capitalized on that, or even suggested that they care. And while I can't get into Kawhi's head, it's hard to think of a single player that seems less likely to be preoccupied with show business. And frankly, if that's why someone is coming here, it's a big red flag.

He’s literally been a Laker for 5 minutes and has an extra 5 million per in his pocket. I’d say that capitalizing on it but it seems your requirements are higher than that.

I was specifically referring to "Hollywood" and "show business." Not endorsements, generally.
