    Cool story Woj.

Lebron + AD or SGA + Gallo

    Kyrie to Brooklyn
KD and Klay our for the year
Jimmy getting 5 years from Philly or Lakers backup plan
Who is going there with him?

    Sure Woj. Whatever you say.

It has been reported a million times over that NO ONE knows what Leonard is going to do or what he is thinking. He is as private a dude as I've ever seen in sports. Even if he goes the paper clips how can anyone say "his focus is..." These writers are using assumptions as facts.

I believe there's a good chance he stays in Toronto. Anything beyond that is just people speculating.

So Woj is saying it’s not a certain the Lakers will even get a meeting.

But yesterday Chris Carter, who’s close with Kawhi’s camp, said the Lakers would get a netting along with the Raptors, Clippers, Knicks, and Nets.

    :Crazyartest: Alright Woj lol

If we were truly completely out of the running, the media wouldn't mention us so much.

Nobody knows what Kawhi will do. If anything, the people close to him (his sister and cousin) have been saying he's coming to the Lakers. The other people have said diddly squat. For the record, that's the first time I've used diddly squat in a sentence in roughly a decade. Have no idea why it popped into my head after lying dormant for 10 years.

Here's a summary of Woj's Lakers reporting recently:

Woj: "blah blah blah ---something about the Lakers missing out --- blah blah blah...but that could change."

Basically, he doesn't know much about the Lakers inner workings so he builds in an out to his reporting that things are subject to change.

Woj has become the Charles Barkley of ESPN. Stuff just flows out of his mouth that is BS.

ESPN likes to stir drama, so saying Kawhi isn't interested in the Lakers is what drives his ratings

Some of the speculation has been that Kawhi doesn’t like the spotlight and so he wouldn’t want all the attention associated with playing with Lebron.

Ignoring the fact that his trade demands still focused on the Lakers after Lebron signed, I’d argue that there would be more media spotlight and scrutiny if he were on the Clippers.

With the Lakers, he’d be allowed to chill out in the background as AD and Lebron would soak up a lot of the attention in the media. On the Clippers, not only is he the main guy but he would also now be making a clear decision that he wants to compete with Lebron as the king of LA. If the Clippers don’t pan out as well (and they won’t), he will be heavily scrutinized.

I watched a KL interview a while back and he was asked what the most important thing for him is... he first mentioned being healthy and to have a long successful career...

Imo, by staying with the Raptors long term or the clippers, he’ll be the main man and he’ll be pushed hard due to him being the focus of the opposing team.

I think that if he wants longevity, why not join the Lakers and chill behind 2 superstars

The 7th man on a Lakers team with Lebron and AD will get more scrutiny than anyone on the Clippers.

I detect Lee Jenkins' hand on this narrative. I think Ballmer has enabled Jenkins to distribute wads of cash to these talking heads
