Sounds like New Orleans is in due process but the reality is they have one trade partner with any substance.

I'd rather take a chance on him rounding into form and staying healthy than keep Kuzma.

Wait, so other teams are hesitant to trade away pieces like Levert, Robinson, or Knox, while we're anxious to give away much better prospects like Ingram, Ball and Kuzma? Makes sense.

sure n id rather keep bi. everyone has preferences i guess and chooses whatever optics best suite them, this is a wings league, a pg that cant shoot or look to score is useless no matter how great he is defensively

Zo was starting to attack the basket and finish a lot better with his speed and athleticism when he wrecked his ankle. I expect that to continue to become a strength this year. Opens up a lot of things for him and the team.

i find it hard to believe that the nets won't give anyone up. same with clips. that's spin from their front offices. the truth is that davis has let them know he'd rather not be there, so they're saving face by pumping up their youth. notice that the two teams davis has said he'd play for long-term have made no such claims, despite having better pieces than either bkn or lac.

the timing of paul's anti-boston statement makes me think ainge is pushing for a deal in ways that are giving the lakers' and knicks' FOs problems--namely, griff's using boston's hypothetical godfather package as leverage, and ainge is letting him think it's possible in the hopes he can buy time and pull a rabbit out of a hat.

my guess is boston AGAIN wants to delay the deal--this time until after the draft, when their future memphis pick starts to feel more valuable than our current #4 or the knicks's #3. then they'll hope we and ny get shut out in FA, and suddenly he's got the package and two teams that might be a bit gun shy on committing assets.

he's a clever bastard. let's hope griffin sees through it, because he's not getting the C Bags' godfather offer. ever.

The Nets have no one of value to trade to the Pelicans except Dinwiddie and LeVert. I see people saying they could trade Russell, but Russell would have to agree with the trade. What part of D'Lo's personality tells you he would welcome a move to New Orleans? The Nets aren't a real option. Th Clippers......I really don't see any way they can put a package together that rivals ours.

I'm left wondering what our package might look like. Maybe something along the lines of Kuz and Lonzo to the Wizards to reroute Beal along with the 4th pick and Ingram to New Orleans?

Ingram, the 4th pick and the 6th pick (via Lonzo to the Suns) doesn't strike me as being better than just a one on one trade where they get Lonzo and Ingram with the 4th. Lonzo is better than the 6th pick in this year's draft.

we don't know what's been offered. i'm still not sure if we know what was offered at the deadline, tbh. "everything on the table" and "everything at once" aren't the same thing.

i do think that if this drags past the draft, it becomes a different situation for many reasons.

we know anything n everything was offered at the deadline, current pkg is unknown, if that initial rob offer is to be believed i have high hopes 1 of the 3 amongst bi/kuz/zo can be retained

do we? didn't jeanie claim that wasn't true? i imagine the offer at the deadline was big (and much bigger than our opening offer this time), but it may not have been as reported.

I think the FO is pushing hard to keep Lonzo right now, as much as they love Kuz.

Even though a package of Ingram, Kuz, #4, Hart and 2021 1st would blow any other offer out the water, I think Rob will concede a 2023 1st to keep Lonzo here.

Pretty clear we have to do something now, we cant go into preseason with the same roster or morale will be completely in the dumpster. If we cant get an AD deal done, the FO is almost forced to make a smaller move with some of our young talent.
