I’m willing to give him a fair shot. It’s a certain 6’8 wing in PG13 that he developed nicely in Indiana. Hopefully he can do the same for Ingram.

My take away is that he is very much a likable guy, who seems to be a good influence in the locker room.

He can't change the fact that he was the 3rd choice, nor can he change the fact that his superiors are all fools.

I think its fair to give him a chance...its not like we have a choice.

    Still...**** Pelinka, Rambis and Jeanie.

Yeah, hopefully he’s learned from his stint in Orlando.

Whether by design or dumb luck, not saying which, we ended up with the right coach at the right time. He just sat there calmly through a lot of dumb ill timed questions. He is so glad to be the Lakers coach he is going to just get to work. We have a little good fortune in the health department he will come off looking like a genius.

Ox= everybody sucks, only good ones are the ones I say are good (no actual evidence to back it up)

last time I checked with you, you noted you'd be worried if one of those 3 candidates were really going to get hired (including vogel) and now he's great and better than monty/lue cause you said so, failing to acknowledge he failed miserably in Orl. Clifford who isn't exactly a great coach, took that same team into the playoffs

Lue had a heart attack dude. Coaching the Crabiliers. THE CAVS! You want him to coach in LA for the Lakers with the pressure of an elephant on your chest 24/7? Really?

Monty Williams, what has he done to prove he is an NBA coach? He can't even help Brett Brown from not sucking less. Couldn't keep Embiid from running his mouth or Simmons from not clanking every shot.

Frank Vogal has lead young teams deep in the playoffs and almost beating Lebron James teams with D-Wade on them. He is a better coach than those two. His stay in Orlando was two years of the front office trading their best player for nothing and playing rookies. Not much chance to win that way.

    That enough evidence, detective?

like i said, Clifford took that same orl team to the playoffs the very next yr after Vogel got booted n we can all agree cliff aint no master hc....im not arguing if Vogel is good or bad, but when i ask "according to who" and your answer is "me, n logic" is what id question n did you not say you be worried if one of those 3 candidates mentioned post lue debacle end up being hired (again vogel being on of those 3)?

Frank Vogel Says He And LeBron Are 'On The Same Page'

Another nugget in there that Bron wasn't happy with Luke's lack of offensive structure

Bron is going to be a good lil soldier, but clearly he preferred Lue. And personally it could have been Lue with Vogel as head assistant had the Lakers closed the coaching search the right way.

Lue and Vogel looked great on paper covering both offense and defense. Rob blew that though so here we are.
