Wow one of the rare games Kyle had a great shooting game and Giannis had a decent game and Toronto still lost. I know they have to be sick.

They shot like crap and still won. Looks like a pretty big rebounding disparity was part of the outcome.

I'm still pretty surprised that the Bucks pulled out this win. Big loss for Toronto since the Bucks looked rusty and the Raptors were in control of most of this game. Go Bucks!

That lost is gonna hurt for Portland. KD might not play another game this round but that might have been their best chance to win a game.

Yeah, that was a BLOWN opportunity by Portland. They showed a real lack of poise down the stretch where they had plenty of chances to put this one away. Too many bad iso plays by McCullum and Lillard did them in. On the other side you saw why the Warriors are the champs. They delivered when they had to.

I can't see the Blazers winning four of the next five games. Just doesn't seem likely. Not saying this is over, just that it doesn't look great for Portland upsetting the Warriors in this Conference Finals. There might come a day in the next couple years where the Blazers take them and end their reign. But right now the champs are showing how tough it is to take their crown away. Blazers have to play a whole lot smarter.

I definitely agree with you. Portland can win one or two games, but they can't win the series, I just don't see that. Another interesting thing is how Warriors play more team ball without Durant and I generally like them better as long as they can add some depth in the offseason even if Durant leaves. I mean no disrespect to him, of course; he's an amazing player, arguably the best, but the Warriors system somehow clicks better with the "old" team. I feel that's more who they really are, and it gives a chance to both Steph & Klay to shine because they know the team relies on their consistent performances with Durant out. They don't absolutely need him, it's just a bonus to have such a superstar on their team. Which is kind of scary, when you think about it.

Lillard has an exaggerated clutch reputation.

He has been getting cooked recently. If it wasn't for CJ, they would be fishing right now.

Lillard has been very good to great in only 2 playoffs series in his career ( against Houston 5 years ago and against OKC ).

The rest is very forgettable to say the least .

He has been a playoffs choker but isn't known as one since Portland wasn't supposed to win series like the Raptors with DDR and Lowry for example

Great points Karacha and I totally agree with you. GS is much more fun and better to watch IMO without Durant.

It's not impossible for Portland to pull this one out but it's not looking good with this loss. Basically Dame and McCullum have to stop with the alternating bad games/good games. They both need to play well in the same game in order to beat the Warriors. Either that or they have to have a lot of help from their teammates offensively. But basically it comes down to both of them coming through, not one or the other. That can work against Denver but not the champs.

They are dominating the Raptors. I’ve got to think GS is concerned. I don’t think they match up that well.

Lopez a dinosaur out there so slow and too big for modern game. Glad we didn't get stuck with him. Especially for that kind of money.

Seth Curry shoots just as well as steph, I think statistically career wise he shoots it a bit better right? Their father has to be elated.

I don't think it's wise to brush over Portland. Those guys play great at home. Also dame is due for a hot game. Seth played great defense game 2. I'm sure they have something figured out. Well coached team. Game 1 was mental fatigue, they match up well with GS. I see this going 7 games.

Giannis is a beast. Hes only 24 and could potentially lead his team to a championship. I think the kid is becoming one of my favorite non-laker players. Bucks are gonna crush whoever comes out of the westwest, imo.

I do think this is the Buck's year too. They have been the best team all year long, so this is nothing new.

Thank goodness we got their old coach that was holding that team back as our *cough cough* assistant coach.

I like your confidence in Portland. However, in both ECF and WCF the team that has gone up 2-0 has won the series 91% of the time. I actually think Portland will win the next game because GS gets complacent, bored, etc... that’s what happened in the first half of game 2. But, I see GS winning the next two to close them out. I also think that Portland might get swept.

I agree with you regarding Giannis. Once he develops his jumper more watch out! He should be the MVP this year...

Can you imagine what a great season this would be due to the following?

    - Harden and CP Douche being eliminated again!
    - the C Bags getting steamrolled by the Bucks
    - Giannis winning the MVP over Harden

I would be elated if the last thing happened as it would be a BIG kick in the nuts to Harden, Morey, D’Antoni for the abomination (called Rockets basketball) they’ve put on the floor.

Then since Harden doesn’t get the MVP, he would slowly start to lose the treatment he gets from the refs. We saw it with Kobe once he wasn’t the player du jour. Harden won’t get the calls he used to and he can fade away. We started to see it somewhat in the playoffs... then basketball can be restored!
