So when Magic shaded him with the leader line, I was wondering why dude chose to take the high road. Makes sense now.

Speaking of cents, hope this doesn't affect his bag cause smoking weed is such a non issue during your off season. I wonder how much he can get in redeeming that Arizona can.

But, the real story is the secretive equipment used in carrying out this deceit and then trying to have his brother take the rap. And once again, video surveillance was involved... goddamn.

In related news, DLo to Phoenix confirmed!

And DLo about that life alright...that spy life!

You think Magic’s criticism were about - or are apt, take your pick- because Russ smokes marijuana? (Wasn’t exactly grammatical. Sorry.)

Marijuana is probably good for the majority of athletes. Hard to down regulate in that lifestyle.

I agree that athletes need to unwind during their down time...so light it up.

But I think you missed my intent, Trav.

Magic shaded him and DLo chose to take the "high" road. I see why now.

    what a dumb move!

Maturity built during the season immidiately put into question....

these guys don't understand that building reputation takes years, destroying it takes one moment.

Good job on hiding it in something that is also prohibited by airport security, when you have a contract due.

With Swaggy P, this could be revenge or a serious tip. Can guarantee nobody would care about the weed if he did this. Has D'Angelo had a better career than Nick Young already? With the all star appearance and being a leader in his team I would have to say yes sadly.

Here's DLo getting the Woj tweet:

I don't know Trav, it sure doesn't look good for your guy to stay in BK right now. The Nets didn't need to clear more cap to get Kyrie or KD. DLo's caphold was 21m, so as is, they had just enough for a Kyrie max slot and could have done some smaller moves to get enough for KD's max.

What this move does is essentially free up enough cap to bring both Ky/KD in with close to their near maxes. Since Kyrie is eligible for a 35% max next summer, I'm thinking he does a 1+1 this summer and takesjust a shade less so that KD gets the full max.

BK would have to renounce damn near everybody (ie DLo and RHJ) to bring in a Ky/KD pairing. Also don't forget that not too long back, a Kyrie and Butler pairing seemed to be shaping up... And both can get their entire max amounts now with the Nets if they decide to team-up.

Seems a bit unfair teams can be trading right now when the Finals teams clearly cannot. How is that right? Head start for the less fortunate?

Maybe after all this Russ ends up a Clipper or a Knick. There’s only so many teams with max slots and he’s probably earned close to max becoming an all-star.
