Damn, KCP sucks. Just terrible from day one of this season. Last season post-prison time he was bringing it for a bit.
beverly's got problems. i know fans love his scrappiness and heart, but his haterade probably makes him pretty unpopular with other players, which matters--and might be a reason he's never really cashed in or found a home, despite being such a fan/media favorite at times. he's a dirty bastard who doesn't compete respectfully. i'm sorry you're undertalented. just play hard. quit the talking and the antics.
god i would love to have beverly yeah he's easy to hate because of his antics but he gets under people's skin easily also, if i'm lonzo i use that stuff as motivation
I don’t understand posters’ hatred for Tatum on here. He’s a good young player. He’s far from elite, but he’s doing his job and has already built a body of work that speaks to a long, productive career. Tatum has the most games, starts, and (by far) minutes played. And the C Bags are 10-2 workout Irving. He’s winning games.
Hate comes from all these "reports" and media salivating while talking about Tatum. It goes, Tatum = God >>>>> Bi, Kuz, Ball, Zubac, Hart combined.
yeah, it's a reaction to the press, not the player. you said yourself he's far from elite. i think most around here agree. it's that he's 5X the player ingram, ball, or kuzma is that's being disputed with the snark.
Was hoping to see “severs ties with Lavar” when I started reading this headline... Still, glad to see Lonzo learn this stuff early and take more control over his business and finances. Probably wasn’t easy to come to terms with this for a guy who seemed to be a long time family friend.
The part that the Lakers asked him about his shoes was interesting: Time to wear high tops like Curry Zo.
I’m waiting for the news article when Lonzo severs ties with Lavar after discovering he’s broke because he spent all his money on the JBL.
Wonder about that big ole house with all the renovatin' needed that LaVar bought? Lonzo's own place near Staples, child support ..... yeah a lot of that cash has been going out the door.
And that JBA league that Lavar created to pump up the careers of Liangelo and Lamelo. There were stories about how some of those players didn't get paid. This Alan Foster owns 16.3% of the company, what happens with that? Does he immediately lose that or did they buy him out to get rid of him? It's gonna be a big mess to deal with. It's not a good idea at all to get into business with friends and family. Money changes people and relationships.
Also looks like he changed his profile picture to himself as a baby wearing a Nike shirt. And people are saying he unfollowed BBB on Instagram. I like it. I think the narrative that BBB’s shoes are causing him problems is overblown, but it definitely wouldn’t hurt to just move on to a reputable brand like Nike and cut ties with all the distractions associated with BBB.
