Not much in the second half. Including minutes.

    Still, 28-7-3 on good shooting.

Steve Kyler had a lot to say regarding Russ yesterday. These posts aren’t all in a row, he was a answering questions from people, he did not speak highly of Magic and his moves, letting go of Randle, and thinks Magic wants to clean house of everyone here before he got here too, meaning Ingram is out too. Still I found his tweets interesting

    On Luke and Ingram

I think this is all plausible...
Magic thought DLo (and others) didn't have it.
That was a deal good enough for the Lakers to pull the trigger.
DLo does have it, and would have gotten it in LA with a coach who wasn't a tool.
There were better deals if they could have been patient.
They could have been more patient.

For what it's worth, I hate LeBron on the Lakers so much, it's irrelevant to me. I'm enjoying following Russ, and I hope Ingram isn't out. He's a player I come back to check on.

BTW, growing pains as the injuried Nets players return from injury and the team struggles to figure out its rotations and roles again.

Russ has been playing a little bit more playmaker. He's averaging 18.3 points (46% FGs), 8.8 dimes in 25.5 minutes over his last four, but Brooklyn has lost three of those.

He’s super crafty. Already has old man game. He doesn’t have anywhere near elite athleticism. Gotta keep getting stronger and playing smart. 25-5-4 tonight.

When he was here I compared his game to Andre Miller, in that he stays much closer to the ground than most guards, he’s indeed more of a crafty guy than a super athletic guy. I think I remember saying that playing style just might help to extend his career as well as it seems to lessen injury risk. So far he’s had some bad luck in that area, but not this season at least, so maybe that’s a positive trend. But yes he doesn’t get a lot of height on his jumper and he doesn’t need it, which takes less toll on your knees and such, and he doesn’t try to dunk on everyone, instead you see him using that floater more, which is a deadly shot to have if you master it. Andre Miller wasn’t amazing, but he was probably underrated, and even so Russ looks like he easily has the potential to surpass him. He already has in all-star appearances, it’s just a matter of his game continuing to grow and mature, his defensive potential is probably a little better as well.

Nets locked in a tough battle for the playoffs. They're close to sixth and also to missing the playoffs. They haven't played a playoff game since 2014/15 season. They have won more than 34 games only three times in the past eleven seasons. They're sitting at 34 now with 15 to go.

If the Nets gave Dinwiddie at 25 a 3 year, $34m deal, which side would say no to a five year, $80m offer to Russ (just 23)?

32/10/5. Maybe the Lakers should go after Russ this summer, he’s a free agent and an all-star.

You can see the score as these shots are going in, he doesn’t give up, he keeps at it, he was like that when he was here too, seemed to be at his best in the 4th or with the game on the line. In the end the Clippers won at the buzzer on a Lou Williams 3, but it got to 116-116 before that, so the Nets clearly made a furious comeback, you can see they were down 8 with 48 seconds left
