Just compare the responsibility and the stress level on the job - is it really worth the money?

It's not about the money, i think these guys are competetive as f***. Plus guys like JVG absolutely love coaching.

I agree...JVG seems to be licking his chops for a return (see recent team USA bball stint).

But Luke would have to step down into an assistant capacity. JVG has to be the head coach in any potential return.

He would absolutely be a head coach, and yeah - JVG can coach for sure.

Dayam that would be super to have them together whoever's head coach between them. If JVG and Luke's willing to stay .... even awesomely better. At some point JVG will be too old to go out and tackle Embiid's leg if need be to stop a fight.

    :Magic Brows:

And then Luke will be ready and all that time Jeanie's happy. And just as important I'm happy.

jvg got blown into obselescence just like his brother, imo.

plus, i think he's just waiting for the inevitable d'antoni firing to take up the local reins (he still lives in houston, right?).

if we don't have a young innovator in the wings, firing luke makes little sense.

I am pretty positive Brown is a better coach. He was on SA stuff, GSW stuff, he has DVDs...

    Define drastic...

I’d say don’t bother coming to work tomorrow, but you obviously haven’t been doing any work this season so go kick rocks.

    Lue...

LeBron's connection AND a former Laker on a championship team? It's a done deal.

And we are going to suffer just as much.

I think he quit on his team weeks ago. The rift on the team has been clear and it honestly goes back to the reported confrontation between him and the veterans. We got rid of Beasley for him which cost us Zu. He still looks disinterested out there and like he wants to be somewhere else

I say give him his wish and send him home.

Every person mentioned from Kidd to Lue could have coached us to wins against teams like the Suns.

Enough is enough. Bring in a real coach. Period.
