Nah come @ me! #BullyBawl is my go to move @ the local crYMCA. Here's an interesting angle....with all the AD leaks, Nawlins did value Zo. So would they want the asset they potentially trade for to rush back from a grade 3 injury (which is the most severe type)? Which is why Nawlins was dumb not to pull the trigger...they coulda grabbed their most coveted asset (not named Tatum), sat him, tanked their own pick in the process and avoided this whole "dumpster fire".
4-6 weeks=2 months 6-8 weeks=out for the season will the lakers medical staff ever make it into the 21st century?
For a Grade 3 sprain, 4-6 weeks sounded ridiculously and unrealistically rosy in the first place. Dellavedova and Reggie Jackson had Grade 3 sprains last year and missed 9 and 11 weeks, respectively. This isn’t so much about Zo being a slow healer as it is the Lakers FO ignoring facts and understating the recovery time.
yeah, as i said earlier in the thread, i've had sprains this bad, and 4-6 weeks seemed pretty optimistic. and lonzo heals slower than my jv a**, i think.
Stuff like this does nothing to endear newbies from respected mods like Vash. Why are you trying to insinuate yourself in conversations, you gotta earn your stripes
I'm pessimistic about our chances to make the playoffs without Lonzo. I just don't see it unless Lebron goes into superhero mode. I guess we'll see. I also think the Lakers med staff is underestimating the rehab time here as per usual.
Just read this elsewhere and it makes perfect sense: we probably threw out that optimistic timeline to try and keep his trade value up. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get an update next week saying that he’s still at least another 4 weeks away.
Exactly. It's like Kobe elbowing rookies and going at them in practice .... gotta see what Stu's made out of. Watch out for Ron though that guy's crazy and will pick up anything.
