This is another referendum on Lakers entitlement syndrome. Just like the CP3 deal that was done and later undone. In the end, NO proves that having AD does not get you anywhere. While Lakers fans including myself would have liked to have seen him paired with LBJ - there are other players we now need to target. Detroit won a championship against Lakers without Shaq. Dallas won another without Lebron. I plan to lick my wounds and rally for this team to make the playoffs. I am thankful we did not send out all these guys for one player. In order to fill out the roster - we would have had to ask Battier to come out of retirement. You know what I'd love - Beat Boston by 20 tomorrow.

I was thinking along those lines but not as detailed. Boston's picks just got crappier. That was my analysis.

The narrative should be do you overcompensate for Paula or AD? I know which one I'd do it for.

    Solid 2cents at that!

LeGM isn't just terrorizing the Lakers, hes killing team psyche up and down the conference...

I think Jerry has his eyes on KD, Kyrie, and Leonard. He got his hooks into KD in GS.

Magic/Lakers got set up. I hope we'll remember this and get our revenge at some point, it's us vs. The NBA.
I just hope i live long enough to see us at the top again.

Maybe there is another deal out there which has not been leaked. Stealth. Would be fun to wake up and see Beal and Ariza in P&G.

You wanna go a step further...the cLips just opened up another max spot with that Tobias deal as well. Ky's a free agent, right?

More than anything, I just want Boston to go down in a glorious heap. Ky "don't owe y'all s***"...AD don't want y'all...#TheyJusNotIntoYou...Rozier is out that b**** if he can help it...and Brown/Tatum must be thinking, we're just lame ducks sitting out here till a star is willing to get traded here for us...

But of course the media driven narrative is that Bron & Magic are the boogiemen colluding against their own young boys and other small market teams.

And some Lakers fans out of all folks, eating that s*** up. Pull y'all selves away from the tissue box and give y'all selves a hand.

Even we, fans, are turning on each other  I hope NO, C Bags, Pop and rest of these f***ers will get what they deserve. I want NO to get hosed by Ainge, Kyrie to screw the C Bags and then AD to join us a FA. I'll die a happy man if this happens.

Nah, Lebron's camp, which now includes Magic, Pelinka, and AD, came up with Decision II but got played by the Pelicans and embarrassed themselves in the process. The execution was poor from the getgo, exposing how naive and arrogant they are for thinking they can manipulate the system.

Nice try though. Hope they've learned their lesson.

The moment AD said he wants out, the WHOLE board was all for the trade. We applauded the timing, we said throw everything and a kitchen sink at them. Now, all of a sudden, we all knew it was a set up and we offered too much?
    This is getting hilarious.

IMO it's still to early to judge the Management on this. They should be judged based on the results. If they can still get AD somehow without losing the entire young core and multiple picks, call me a happy camper. If they cannot get him or another actual star NOW, this is a freaking disaster.

The thing that is bothering me the most though is - why the hell is all of this so damn official. Say what you want about Mitch, when he did trades most of the time the public did not know squat until the last moment. I would prefer this to be handled in a similar manner. Maybe it's not possible today anymore due to many reasons, but I am fairly sure it was by design and this design was prepared by our FO/LBJ.

BTW - as others have already mentioned - literally all our fears related to signing Bron have materialized in front of our eyes halfway through his first season as a Laker. He better get us a ring soon.

Nope, I maintained that I wanted to keep Lonzo or BI.

Nope, I never would have imagined Magic would get played and cornered this badly.

Kuz, Ingram, Ball and a first...thats my pain threshold bidding against ourselves. I would have happily parted with this package.

Adding Hart and Zubac and three more first rounders is asinine. Those guys aren't throw ins.

If that trade happens, the Lakers would be giving them 3-4 starters, one or two great bench players and 4 first rounders...

In a couple of years Bron's legs are gone and we are back to suck mode without picks. Did the mistake before, learned from it.
