Luke does not have a system. When you do not have a system, it is hard to run a consistent offense in an 82 game season where you have players getting injured, tired or need their feminine hygiene breaks during the long days of January and February. That is Luke's fault. What isn't his fault is this is the wrong set of sorry a** p**** players to coach. If he has a chance to coach players who have heart and respect for the coach, he will have better success. Good luck to Luke after this year is over, because he wont be the head coach in 2019-20.

I was thinking of what we gave up in the Gasol, D12, and Steve Nash deals. My recall was that the last of those three involved multiple firsts and that the combined impact of all three was to eliminate our drafting for 8 years. We did manage during some of the 'lean' years to buy 2nd round picks (Clarkson), and other first round picks (Lou Williams trade). While I am against giving them everything they want - it would be interesting to see what kind of team we could form around AD and LBJ with Bullock on the squad. Never say never. Remember - AD is 25.

cLips took "the list" seriously and just added 2 future 1st rounders and capspace to absorb AD into (via trade) with the ability to add a maxed Kawhi (via capspace) only thru a Galli stretch and waiving ABradley.

And Philly got stronger with this trade to fend off Boston from making a deep run in the postseason.
