    I’d rather go after Kemba. I think we need more of a perimeter oriented scoring punch since we severely lack that at the moment.

    Do the Pelicans really say they believe AD will want to come back and play for them after the deadline...

    Are they on f***ing drugs? Sorry about the language but seriously if that’s what Magic has to deal with to negotiate forget about it. That is about as close to brain dead as you can get.

    Our ENTIRE young core, 2 picks, AND we take Hill back for them, and they say no. They are going to regret this so hard. :D If this were the NBA under David Stern he’d have rescinded OUR offer for us because basketball reasons. Not only should this offer not be as good in the summer, it shouldn’t be as good from this moment on. It shouldn’t be as good if they call back later or tomorrow or Thursday. F*** them.

    For the record I would have given the other two 1sts they wanted at that point because you have at least 4 more years of Lebron/Davis and 8 more years of Davis prime and could easily fill in to be competitive....

    But that’s not the point...

    The Pelicans would have asked for another two firsts and then another asset and so on...

    Which makes this whole exercise futile because the Pelicans aren’t in this to make a deal.

    Lol of course the Lakers have to walk away at this point.

    After the "Final Offer", there is literally nothing else we can offer. Can we even really offer 4 #1 picks and 4 #2 picks? I thought there's a rule where you can't trade back to back #1s.

    We are giving up ALL assets, 2 #1 picks, and taking on bad contracts. There is NO WAY the Boston offer would even be better than this even if they include Tatum.

    The only way the Boston offer could be better is if they offered both Tatum, Brown, Smart, Rozier, Take on bad contract, and 2 #1s too. Boston ain't doing that...guarantee it.

    The most important thing in all of this is that AD liked what we did for him. Maginka learned from their mistake with PG getting all butthurt because we didn't offer alot for him. AD will go into the summer with even more resolve to stand pat on his desire to go to LAL.....we just offered the entire farm for him.

    At the very least, we didn't burn any bridges with AD for the summer or 2020.
