I gotta say, while I am firmly in the "DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET AD" camp, this purported offer is really starting to make me anxious about where we'll be if the deal goes through. I mean, there is a limit. 3 core players, two 1st-rounders and an extra contract coming back puts us in quite the bind. I welcome all efforts to make me feel better.

As a few of us have stated, the Pelicans make it appear as if they really played hardball and pushed for a deal. Eliminate other teams from crying that the fix was in from the start. We get our guy in a deal that was always available.
