Rozier is a RFA so that's not happening...

I do not see the C Bags giving Tatum especially if AD is sayin he's not keen on the C Bags...they didn't do it for PG, Butler or Kawhi so I do not see them doing it for AD either...Ainge is very stingy and will only do it if AD agrees to an extension upon trading for him. Otherwise, he's not going to risk it all when Tatum is a sure-fire superstar in the making and only 21 years old...

that's a really good idea, and definitely in line with what's been happening in star trades of late. the lakers need to be seeing which disgruntled/devalued all star they can route to NO in exchange for davis, and griffin is definitely one. he can put a**** in seats and is under contract for a while so not a flight risk.

So now Tatum is a surefire superstar?

Ingram Year 2: 16ppg/5rpg/4apg/47%fg/39% from three
Tatum Year 2: 16ppg/6rpg/2apg/45%fg/38% from three

How on earth did Tatum become a surefire superstar, but around here the general consensus has become that BI is trash? Tatum had a great playoffs last year, but the only thing he's improved is his rebounding. Shooting is down and can't create for others. He also happens to be on one of the deepest, most balanced, and well-coached teams in the league.

Ingram has had his troubles, but he's asked to do a lot more and we all knew he might take a few years to grow into his body. Tatum may end up being a superstar, but nothing indicates "surefire" and I don't see much besides a scorer.

No argument, the Clipps sold him a bill of goods and then woke up and traded him. I think the max contract decision was made by one group, then Jerry West got involved and things changed pretty fast. West could clearly see that a Griffin led team was not going anywhere. Pistons were desperate enough for a superstar to take a chance. That contract will become a major burden in a short period of time.

At least it’ll somewhat fill the void of AD rather than watching a bunch of youngns develop in NOLA.

It’ll help delay the process with Lebron Lakers and Warriors still competing, by that time, they’ll have put together a young squad to build around.

Yeah. We need someone out there navigating us through this BS. Hopefully that’s happening behind the scenes

I think this a good sign that he gets traded by the deadline. Maybe not to us but somewhere.

They sure seem to be taking steps to distance themselves from him since he has basically said he doesn’t want to be there. The actions say they are moving him.

Buss would have said “no I won’t trade you”, or “I will trade you we can get a fair return.”

Thibs would have just pretended everything would be ok.

The Pelicans are taking active steps mid season to remove him from their marketing material. I like that.

Between taking him off their social media banner and removing him from their video, they don't seem like a team trying to win over, appease, or even keep their superstar. I know those are both small moves in the grand scheme of things, but everything counts and is noticed by everyone in this day and age.

    Thanks New Orleans?

“Right now”. That’s how you get offers raised though the media. It’s a game.

How many times have we heard a coach get a vote of confidence and get fired soon thereafter? Talk is cheap.

I've been around enough business deals to know that you watch what people do, not what they say. Removing him from media pieces, taking active steps to get him fined, holding him out of games when he is (probably) now healthy enough to play - all those actions point in one direction. May not happen, but the actions mean alot more to me than the words.

Another demand, another dud for the Lakers. Unless Rich Paul has something done without us knowing, this was a dip**** move. AD should have just shut up and waited it out. Lakers were never going to get him, NEVER. He would have to come on his own. And now, he is gonna get traded to some dip**** team and then he will fall in love there like the other two dip***** and then that leaves us not doing s*** this summer. Rich Paul is the same guy who told Nerlans Noel not to take the 70 mil from Dallas the first time around. Maybe Rich Paul should go back to selling worthless music CD's out of the trunk of his car. Stupid.
