it hasn't happened but show me another executive that was fined for saying a player on another team will win a chip for their current team? And I'm not sure what your response means, the league can't block AD from becoming a FA but they can block him from signing here if tampering is proven. BTW this isn't to say tampering is coming, I'm just noting that it'll make it worse if AD comes out and says Lakers or nothing, that why I'm bringing up that possibility of tampering since Pelicans are already on that thought process

There was obvious tampering with Player's president, Cp3...yet the Rox trade was not vetoed.

There is no precedence by Silver in denying a free agent to sign with the team if his choice.

We can be made an example of via fines...sure. But denying AD to outright sign with us in 2020??? Slow your roll...

 

I wouldn't put it past the NBA to set a precedent and screw us once more. All these little, petty owners are doing things far worse but it's ok, as long, as the Lakers name don't come up.

 

you keep asking for evidence of prior incidence of this but yet you can't show me either of another time where a GM or President got fined like Magic did with his Giannis comments....its the Lakers, league has created "anti-lakers" rules with things like this super max designations. I'm not saying it'll definetly happen but the league CAN apply that block if they have sufficient evidence.

Why don't you go find something where any credible media head has mentioned AD would be denied free agency to LA in 2020 or that a potential trade would be voided?

its a POSSIBLE outcome, not a gurantee and all I'm saying is if AD directly comes out and says Lakers or bust in ADDITION to league finding any type of legit evidence to prove their case, the league could easily go that route, not to mention Magic being a 2x offender already. If you're asking me for this blocking of AD, then find me another incidence like how Magic got fined for Giannis comments.....one request for another.

porzingis? he's been less healthy than AD and the Knicks aren't going to leverage their future for a rental.

lowry/siakam/anunoby? an aging guard and some breakout role players?

thon maker/brogdon? mediocre talent.

none of these packages offer the value that Kuz brings let alone what Zu and Lonzo do at their age. none of those names except porzingis are game changers the way any of our youth can. pelican fans are just salty about their team name.

Bron/Paul been doing this from Miami (superteam part1) to going back to Cleveland (superteam part2)...did the league get in the way? Did they prevent Gasol from being traded here when we used psuedo-retired McKie's contract to get it done?

Just like how no other President has EVER been fined the way Magic has right? give it a brake dude, I am just pointing out a possbility and all you got is its not possible because its never happened LOL...the Mia stuff, nobody cried to league like they are now with LA and really not sure what the Gasol/Mckie transaction has to do with tampering? That was more of a way of playing around with the CBA loop holes.
