The mention of tampering on the press release was definitely directed at us. But the wording as Lowe pointed out is certainly interesting.

If NO is open to dealing with the Lakers, the mention of tampering is just a power move to try to gain an upper hand in negotiations

Yeah. I think Paul has more than done his part. Magic has to bring this home.

    I think he will.

Im definitely biased but i think that’s all a part of the game here. Keep the other teams from complaining that the fix was in.

Heard from a poster on LG that Broderick Turner said that he is "80% sure Davis will be a Laker by the trade deadline..." Heard Ireland say once that Turner is "the most well connect journalist in Los Angeles that he knows of..." that was 3-4 years ago. Again, FWIW...

Honestly, I'm surprised that they even allowed Lebron to have a connection to Klutch sports in the first place. Technically, that's a conflict of interests and could fall under collusion, but I'm not sure of what the rules states exactly, or how involved Lebron is with Klutch in terms of what's in writing.

I like Broderick Turner. He is one of the good ones in my opinion in Sports Journalism. He's always been straight up and he's not a conniving snake like dudes such as Bresnahan who I can't stand.

It’s already been said here, but AD is a top 5 NBA player. In reality we don’t even have the pieces good enough to trade for him, we don’t have a star, or all-star type player outside of LeBron, and as mentioned too all of our kids have been overrated. If it took every single one of them to get AD we’d be lucky NO even accepted that. I’d like to keep one of Kuz, , Zo, and BI too, but if it’s not possible oh well, I’d pack all of their bags for them. We messed around and lost out on George, we didn’t have or wouldn’t include the pieces for Kawhi, possibly because of injury concerns, we cannot miss a 3rd time, you do whatever it takes to get this done within reason (as in not a million first round picks like with Nash).

Anyone think what happened with the Saints/Rams might affect how the Pels not doing LA any more favors? Obviously it wasn't the Rams who made the call, but could be a small point in where to send him.

IF the rumored pkg of Kuz,Ball, Zu and 1 1st....then get it done. At least we still get to keep Bi/Hart, which we can try and pkg later for a beal or a Kemba type guy.

You need to trade for him right now if you're the Lakers. If the summer comes and Boston starts offering better picks and prospects, it's over.

We also need AD to waive his trade kicker. With that, do we have enough space to get a max guy this summer? Cap guys can you comment here?

So no Durant then (not that it was likely anyways). Does Leonard's contract fit there?

I went to nba capulator, removed all cap holds, removed Zo, Kuz, Svi, and the 1st rd pick for 19 and was left with 45mill in cap space, AD makes 27mill for 19/20' season, so no we wont have max cap.
