I hope this topic doesn't get turned into a Lakers discussion or "what could have been?" Goodness, save that for Lakers related forums, IMO.

Either way, nice stats @trodgers. I think he'll close out the month strong? Is this is best month of his career? Most consistent?

It is his best statistically. I’m not sure about how it will finish. Dinwiddie on the wing has some great athleticism. Complements Russ well. He’s out a few weeks.

Technically we can still get him back this summer. Same with Randle. I'm keeping a close eye.

What’s more, Magic actively ranked his value both before and after the trade.

That was the killer to me. It’s like we went out of our way to keep trashing him pretty much destroying his value

Well DAR was talking about keeping in contact with Magic all pre season to pick his brain, then it turns out in that Shaw leak video that he was just f***ing around most of the time and not putting in the work. Magic got irritated and just shipped his a** out. I mean he's better for it now but he wasn't doing himself a favor while he was in LA. Being traded was the best thing that happened to him

if he was indeed that, it was best to not let anyone else know this. ever.

I’m not denying how he was. I’m denying that it makes sense to tank his value and then trade him.

Magic made it personal, and that’s actually an immature executive move.

    #dobetter

But we know Magic has a hard time with flapping his gums.

Loss to Kyrie-less C Bags. Solid game. 5 TOs though.

Not Magic's fault, it was there for everyone to see before Magic got hired. The worst thing to happen to DAR in LA is Nick Young, not talking about the recording either. You can not have a worse influence for a young rookie in LA.

30-7-4 tonight. Zero turnovers. +6 and a win. Nets match franchise record with 11 wins in January. Not bad. Russ hit 8 of 10 FTs, too.
