See, I don't know what "the league" is doing, so I'm spared that :)

I follow very little of what's going on in the NBA, and it's done wonders for my sanity.

I have a "friend" who is a classic bandwagoner. He never cared for the Lakers or Bulls but he was a Sonics, Suns, Portland, Miami, OKC, Dubs and now i think Rockets fan. I hope he shows up tommorow for a pickup game. I can't run much or jump high anymore but i will make his evening a living hell. If he talks s*** about the Lakers and praises "the awesome style of b-ball by the Rockets" i might channel my inner Artest. It's strange for me to act like a d*** (since my uncle/dad's brother) is in charge of the gym and all but hey... i already smacked some of my teammates before (some almost twice my age).

The Rockets are almost on the scums level, absolute unwatchable garbage.

Simmons won't even shoot a necessary last second 3. Instead he dumps it to butler between two defenders.

If that was a Laker player who did that, they’d been suspended for at least 2 games. What BS.

Smart understands what he is getting paid for. He ain't coming to the game to swish that buttery smooth J from the top left wing or to make no look passes...he sucks pretty much except his aggressive bulldozer nature.

Credit to him to stick with his guns but still way overpaid. You don't have to pay someone double digit millions to fight pretty much every game.

Or you can go with the more passive approach:

I’m no expert, but I don’t think your knee cap is suppose to be there.

Bummer. Indy's a feel-good story, imo. Pretty much all the way around.

Harden's knee is still fine, though, right, Satan?

Harden missed 15, 3's today. I mean he also got 61 points (and 15 rebounds), but imagine the greenlight to shoot 20 3 pointers like he did in this game, that other past players missed out on.

This is what Pop means when he talks about the 3 pointer messing up the beauty and depth of basketball.

There are all star, mvp caliber players averaging less total points than Harden gets on just free throws most nights.

Yeah, shot 20 threes! That's more than the whole Laker team did when Kobe got 61 at the garden.

Yes basketball has become hot garbage.

No more beautiful inside out game with beautiful cuts, screens, angles etc...all just run up and down and bomb a 3 or take it to the rim if the defense isn't there.

The entire subtlety, sophistication, finesse and craftmanship of NBA basketball has been flushed down the toilet. You don't even need to design an offense these days. Just move the ball and shoot 3 if the defender is more than 1 feet away lol

Far less beautiful pocket passes and entry passes, far less hustle and toughness on defense, no post play, no hook shots, no bank shots, no mid range game, no fade aways, contactless pretty much....players coming out of college can't do anything anymore except for shoot 3s.

the game comes and goes in bunches these days...teams get hot and make 7 threes...then they go cold and miss 10 threes and so forth...awful to watch.

You tall, you make threes? You are an NBA player! Where are the skills for godes sake?

You see how much fun Kuzma is for still bringing some old school moves on offense? So fun to watch.

Completely agree with this, also miss when the league was physical and you could actually play tough defense.

Yep... RIP NBA, first GSW now this BS. I hope ratings will drop much more, so that the changes will be inevitable.
    I'll just leave it here...

Kenneth Faried just had 21 points and 14 boards on 8-11 shooting in the Rockets win over the Raptors. Rich get richer, FML.
