I slipped on a dog turd (real story) when i was about 7-8 yo. From that point on, i had my ankle sprained at least once a year. Sometimes it went away after a few days of rest but there were times, i walked "funny" for a few weeks. This sucks.

    Rondo should be back soon.

At least we can be happy that we do have 2 serviceable guys or else we would be screwed.

With LeBron back, he is the defacto PG anyways. We might play more Hart, Svi, KCP and call it a day.

i think the defense is what we should worry about with lonzo out.

and i had a ton of sprained ankles when i was young, some worse than others. the worst two i had kept me out for 2-3 months each. i couldn't walk for the first couple of weeks. but you could hear the pop two courts over on one of those, not sure if his was as bad. plus, he's a pro athlete, and i...wasn't.

Grade 3 ankle sprain is no joke... it's better to just break it and have a surgery. Kid will need few extra weeks to get in basketball shape. SMH

It’s better to fully tear it and seek surgical repair immediately...if you're a fan.

However, avoiding surgical intervention is almost always preferable. This 6 week window is being used to fully immobilize the joint and have Zo's immune system repair the tear on its own. I wouldn't be surprised if they elect to go the Prp route to assist with the healing, as they did with his knee pre-surgery.

Speaking of which, that's now a left ankle injury following a left knee injury/scope. Hate to compound the problem, but that's also something to keep an eye on.

I was tongue in cheek about his sneakers, but no joke...this has the optics of a long road back. They have been very conservative with Zo before, so don't be surprised if he gets reevaluated after 6 weeks to have a follow-up report that requires surgical repair, effectively shutting him down for the season.

I'm not surprised by the injury , he was asked to do a lot more with Bron and Rondo out and his body wasn't ready for it .

    BI may be next ...

Well hopefully Lebron comes back soon, because we have no PG's right now, the team is crumbling.

He's out for the season...Lakers almost ALWAYS miscalculate injury timelines and this will be no different.

What a shame...he was starting to put it all together
