I hope he starts tonight. He gives us a better look offensively and more dynamic play.

Zubac is running harder at both ends... Maybe whatever he contracted at the beginning of training camp has fully gone away. Picked up box-out skills from Lopez but had the amount of rebounds the latter couldn't accumulate in three to four games.

He will Zuminate the Rockets today. They are playing “tiny ball” lately. You know, SFs playing center etc. Feed Zubac from the start.

Watch the refs foul him on ticky tacks early. Gotta protect the Beard / Houston story. Hope I'm wrong. But yeah lets stop with the he's too slow running for today's game. He's getting up and down just fine. The more he plays, aside from off nights that every player has, the more confident he becomes and better his timing gets.

Was afraid I was going to lose the need for this Guy.

We need to assign Zu to be Lonzo's FT coach.

He played his heart out today. It's great to have another option for FT's when things get close at the end.

He's playing his way into the starting lineup if he keeps this up.

Zu shoots a frozen rope at the ft line, but he's very consistent with his form, so he makes them consistently. It's not a shot I'd want Zo or BI taking. Very little room for error.

I don't think he can start yet. It seems he needs to feast on second stringers first before he can battle with the opposing starters

He is great on offense but terrible on defense. Every time he contests, it's a foul.

But lately McGee has been garbage on both ends. He doesn't bring those blocks anymore and he doesn't rotate like he used to. His help defense had taken a huge hit to a point, I don't want to see him on the court anymore.

McGee has not fully recovered from that respiratory ailment that sidelined him for a spell. Zubac has been bringing it given healthy minutes. Did it for a stretch last season too.

Yes I wanted Zu on the court all the time yesterday. His FT shooting is a revelation, he makes almost every shot he takes and is a real asset on offense.

Too bad he is a liability on defense or he would be a top 10 C.

I think the distinction here should be every time he contests they CALL a foul. A lot of BS calls yesterday where Zu was punished for being large while Houston was small and because Harden is named Harden.

Zu honestly deserves to start or at least be in a timeshare with McGee. McGee works well when Bron plays because of all the attention he draws, so that'll be fine.

But Zu off the bench has been far superior offensively than Tyson. Tyson only needs to be used in special instances like defending guys like LMA, Jokic, or in a situation where he can give us a second attempt because he does that so well.
