I think you might be right about his left hand dominance tada. I still think he should be focused on fixing what he's got - the right hand jumper. But if he worked on his left as well that would be great.

Mainly, right NOW he needs to fix his free throw shooting. He doesn't have time to correct the jumpshot at this time, but he absolutely can work on his free throwing and he must. NOT acceptable at all. He's the worst in the league.

I love this kid's game though. Always have. Now fix those free throws!!!

Lonzo had a really good game and showed how much he can contribute without scoring a lot.

Shooting free throws is mostly mental. Most players can make them all day just shooting around. Add game pressure things change. Arms get tight, breathing changes, some even get blurry vision. The key to improvement is simulating game pressure. Not easy to do. Anyone can shoot 70% if trained properly. My guys could shoot 70% I left them alone, if not I made them do it my way. The penalty for not shooting 70% in practice at least has to be severe. They need to feel the pressure every free throw. Then they will get used to it, percentages come up.

Lonzo plays best going downhill. I feel something always good happens when he attacks with a purpose. I'm sure his free throw shooting is affecting how aggressive he is, but he needs to do more of that. He has the speed and strength to get by most defenders and causes defenses to collapse.

He needs to understand that and stop settling for the 3 when he's left open. Just keep going to the basket.

Just wait till he has a healthy off-season to work on other parts of his game like knowing when to apply brakes instead of going full speed most of the time.

Floaters aren’t easy baskets. Maybe master free throws and layups first?

sorry not necessarily Zo post but does anyone keep up with his Ball family show? I ask just saw interesting youtube thing on LaMelo Ball, he is taller than Zo now and supposedly going to be even better than Zo (even Zo admitted that as well but maybe just family hype). If Loud mouth pops delivers Melo on a silver plater to mgmt and gets him to LA, would mgmt. take him? I dont know how talented he is now since he's no longer being ranked by those high school sites but could be interesting propsect, at least he kinda looks like a bball player unlike the middle brother who looked more like a linebacker

Great! Getting ready to watch this game finally. Some of my most favorite passes of Magic's were the long bounce ones, especially the overhand or one hand high velocity variety.

ball makes a lot of plays that don't show up in stat sheets when he's focused (which isn't every night, sadly). couple times last night, det was poised to get an offensive rebound and he just popped it out to a teammate from nowhere. those are extra possessions.
