Magic was never traded and is a #LakerLifer. Kuz and Hart are not only cost effective, but our aces in the hole in an AD trade. I think we try to hold onto at least one of those dudes in any BI/Ball deal for a star...but it's going to be hard to have Jeanie okay any deal for a member of the #LakersFamily. Plus no one wants any smoke with Mamma Kuz (Lavar, take notice).
Whatever happens, if that day and time comes, it's going to be really tough for us fans but especially Jeanie to make the decision or give the okay on what young guys are involved in a trade. I don't even want to picture or think of it right now. Just want to enjoy the process and journey these kids are on.
I still stand by it. Lou Williams' career high is 50 and Jamal Crawford's is 52 fyi. Streaky bench scorers.
Kuzma should have had a shot to go for 50. To not play at least 5 more minutes was stupid on Luke's part. Let the guy have a epic game. You were winning, let the special moments be special.
i was, but i think the nance pick (which was even more puzzling at the time) had me in "give them a chance" mode. it's why i haven't openly questioned the wagner pick yet (wanted melton). anyway, seeing the draft list from that year again is interesting. lots of those guys have already found roles, but very few look like stars. it was a bad year to be in the top of the draft and supports the idea that trading down was probably a good play if it were available.
I remember I was bummed that OG from Indiana didn't fall to us and went 2-3 picks before ours, going to TOR.
