I think the "mental block" is that he doesn't have a good way to score points easily. Even though players like Simmons can't shoot, he can still drive to the rack to get points. With Lonzo, it's been up and down; sometimes he can shoot, sometimes he can drive, sometimes he can't. The latter is what we saw yesterday; he lost some confidence and started to defer. The big thing for him is get a go to move like Shaq and his baby hook.

It's clear that he's going to take more time to develop compared to other players whom he was drafted with (Fox, Mitchell, etc.). The big question is whether we'll be patient enough with him and eat his highs and lows. I think he has a lot of room to grow.

You can’t be a player in the NBA and shoot 45% from the ft line.

The whole team is to blame for the Knicks game loss. Lonzo was hugely responsible in the 4th Q. No wonder Luke benched him each of the last 2 games. That 5 second call, coming off a timeout and bad pass are just awful decision making. His free throw shooting continues to suck

Time to ask Sirron for a garbage sign... or a few, while he's at it.

Man, that was bad. Points/steals/blocks: 0/0/0. Shot... 0%. Like... how is that stat line even possible for a guard? Starting guard.

He's making it hard for people to defend him. If he was playing for any other franchise, we would be laughing our a**** off...

I think I could be a better option, but I am old and have no stamina anymore. But Caruso would play better at this point. Probably.

This was by far his worst game of his rather short career...

Meanwhile, D-Lo and Randle are killing it for their respective teams...

I can't help but think how much better we'd be with those two versus Ingram and Lonzo...

Russell and Brooklyn are winning, too.

He has had a little more time to develop, too, and under coach (Kenny Atkinson) who knows how to develop talent.

Luke and his staff are a joke in that respect; Zo may have another chance, but that might be elsewhere because Magic doesn't have any patience waiting until these kids figure it out.

Lonzo is just inconsistent, he'll have a string of bad games (when they are bad, they are really bad, like today against the Wolves) and have one really great game (the loss against the Kings when he went out with a leg cramp). Rinse and repeat.

Chalk it up to inexperience, youth, injuries that hampered his offseason training, etc; whatever, but this team with Bron doesn't have time for him to "grow".
