Forget about AD guys, he's the modern day KG. He'll resign with the NOP and waste few years of his career.
The media is salivating and trying to will this into existence. If they don’t get outta here with that. It’s not gonna happen. The pelicans are not trading Anthony Davis. And they’re especially not trading him to us, or any west team for that matter. This ain’t 2K. There is no one in the league except Giannis that would be as valuable to NO as AD. And in every package, we’re giving up 3 of our starters and core players. We don’t “need” this contrary to popular belief. The media needs to have several seats.
Per Lowe: I know...looks like shades of PC Paula. But here's why it's not annoying. Paula made her comments after the whole "hellbent to LA" thing. Here's a thought, Paula tried to force her way to LA and that really pissed off Indy. So tampering allegations and we'll send you and your heels somewhere else. Kawhi tried to force his way to LA and really pissed off SA. So be on your way to the farthest reaches of LA by heading out the country. Maybe, Rich Paul saw how all that turned out and told AD, let's try something new... something where Nawlins doesn't get pissed the f*** off and is more willing to trade you to LA. Yeah, how bout we try that for a change.
Orlando gets Lonzo, Lance and a couple second rounders. Pelicans get Vucevic, Kuzma, Hart, Lakers 2019 first and Lakers 2021 first. Lakers get AD. Lakers then trade Ingram and KCP to Washington for Bradley Beal. McGee/Tyson AD/MELO/Wagner Lebron/MELO/Beasley Beal/Svi Rondo/Caruso We are paper thin, but that starting five can legitimately beat the Warriors. We are still youngish as two of our 3 stars are 25.
Pho-Ball, Hill La-AD,Randle, Melo Hou-KCP Nop-Nene,Knight, Kuzma, Hart, Josh Jackson, Milw 1st, 2 future unprotected 1st from LA, 2 future 1st from Hou Pho-gets their PG of the future Hou-gets rid of Knight/Nene and gets their prime target but have to pay the piper with those 2 1st Nop-pretty much gets a brand new team with this trade, Kuzma/Hart/Jackson could become a solid trio and gets 5 1st rd picks lol la-well AD, I put randle back to us to get depth for losing Kuz, Melo I guess replaces Hart
I just don't see a trade happening this year fellas. But this coming summer should be interesting. Here's something else that's interesting: So going for a young SF on a deal that makes him restricted and manageable. Sure seems like Nop wouldn't mind taking BI who is extension eligible this coming summer. Of course it all starts with AD not accepting the supermax and there's already strong indicators pointing towards him not accepting it: Remember, he's in his 7th year (2018/19), so next year if we trade for him, he'll opt out of his current deal at the end of his 8th year (2019/20). Most likely sign a 30% max 1+1 deal with a player option...opt out and gain access to the 35% max to make back most of the money lost in not accepting the supermax. Here's a breakdown: 19/20 (after we trade for him): 27.1m 20/21 (opts out and signs 2yr bird 30%max deal): 35.4m 21/22 (opts out and signs 5yr bird 35%max deal): 42.4m 22/23: 45.7m 23/24: 49.4m 24/25: 53.3m 25/26: 57.6m The supermax projects to pay him about $242m over 5 years from '20/21 to '24/25. In that same period of time, he would make roughly $226m if he gets traded here and does a 1+1 to gain access to the 35% max. So he only stands to lose 16m over a 5 year period by not taking the supermax and forcing a trade.
but CA state income tax probably makes that worse, but then endorsements.... Imagine once all of the eyebrow plucking endorsements roll in!
If three years ago you said we could go from that team to LBJ/Davis/who cares I would of laughed in your face.
lol @ that nonexistent depth so basically the plan would be to play the starters 40+ minutes each night? and then what happens when AD gets hurt? i'd give up kuzma/hart/lonzo for AD in a heartbeat but then where's the depth? teams don't win titles without a bench
"You want Kuz instead of Lonzo. He can't shoot and look at how terrible his defense is. Harden and Wall put up 50 and 40 on him in a matter of days."
With the AD hype train in full swing before the game tomorrow...I guess it's a good time to remind yall about this: $1.5m house in Metairie, Louisiana bought in 2013 $7.5m house in Westlake Village, California (90 mins away from Staples) bought in 2018 (and reported the same day Rondo agreed to terms with us and a day after Bron committed) #LAD
I thought players can say whatever the hell they want. They party together. They have dinner together. They train together during summer. WTH?!
This is from an article when Ky announced to a Boston crowd that he was commiting to cbags next summer in early October before the season started . All the aggregators made this a story. Yet noone came out complaining about small teams then. Boston been linked to AD for a minute and it was actually cause of Woj's report a year ago...yet no noise about small market team dismay then... Now small market teams GMs STFU and go do you.... #TheyScurred
