Let's be careful what we speak into existence around here.

I'm constantly shocked at how quickly the amazing Laker's training staff has our players back healthy and at full strength in less time than usually predicted.

He'll be out this next 4 game road trip, IMO.

Sucks, but it is what it is...

I'm part of the crowd that is getting impatient, but dude is doing just enough (especially defensively) to appease me and I can't wait till he silences most of his critics.

Get right BI and when you get back, you know what time it is...it might be the only time you have left.

I am getting more and more impatient too, but considering the flashes he showed last year, his work ethic, the praise he received from Bron, I refuse to believe this version of Ingram is what we can expect this season. It may take him longer but I'm fairly sure he'll get there and hopefuly become the second best player on this team.

It also seems to me that what Ingram provides may prove more valuable come PO time. Especially his one on one ability and defense. Which may be some of the reasons why he's still in the S5 even though one could make a very good argument for benching him based on production and "fit" alone.

Odom like #'s/impact is fairly respectable, dont think we have a star on our hands (ball too) but as long as they're productive and we dont over pay to retain them than shouldn't be to disappointed.

BI is extension eligible this coming summer you guys.

If we offer an extension and if he accepts, he becomes a poison pill contract.

So let's say AD becomes available next year right before the trade deadline and BI is sitting on his extension, he'll count as 7.3m in outgoing salary for us, but will count as the projected average of his new contract (ie 20-25m+)in incoming salary for the Pels. Its harder to get a trade done that way, hence the name "poison pill".

We'll see what happens, but it should be interesting and BI still remains my guy...till he's used to bring "the" guy. Hard to say no to AD no matter how many youngns head out.

    Hahaha...well "stranger things" have happened.

I would still cap it at 9 max players out, cause if we send out 11...well I think that type of deal would be...

That sounds fair to me. Bron+AD+3refs = our starting 5.

I’m still on Team BI. Every time someone asks Lebron about the kids, he’s quick to add BI in his conversation too, which tells me he sees something in him. Does he need to show us more? Absolutely. But he’s still averaging 15ppg and is an above average defender. He was always gonna be the 3rd banana anyway after Lebron and whatever free agent we bring in this summer.

the question is whether his type of game works well in a 3rd banana role. he doesn't play well off the ball, and he's not good enough to demand it on the current roster.

Kuz is a better 3rd banana, that’s the thing.

Kuz is also a better 2nd banana. And now he isn't even a worse defender... and BTW a much better rebounder than BI.

Yes, he is. He’s good enough to be your second option if you have two superstars and one of them is not feeling it. I firmly believe Kuzma is that good.

Kuz has been the better banana... Recently. Let's give these guys some more time shall we? Both had their fair share of ups and downs, it just so happens that we're in the middle of Kuz's up while BI is disappointing or not playing right now.

Do you guys expect Kyle to keep up this level of play for the season? I personally don't but will love to eat any amount of crow if he does.

You get my point - give Brandon more time before we start shipping his a** out.

He (Kuz) is a better player for some time now. Not to mention that i expect a lot more from the no.2 pick.

Haha I was thinking the same thing... But here's the Shyamalan twist...they all trying to get "aboard" with Melo coming.

I'm assuming those you quoted would take marshmelo toppin on theirs too.

I really wanted to end this post with the line, "Now I'll make like a banana and split"...but truth is, I'll be here all week.

Even if BI is the 4th banana behind LBJ, Free agent ? and Kuz, is it a crime to have 4 talented players in the starting 5? That’s what’s made GS so tough to beat. I stand by my stance of not trading BI unless it’s for AD or Giannis.

Skip to the 5 minute mark of this interview by Tyson Chandler. He talks glowingly about all 4 of our young guns, and even explains their struggles at times.
