I still have high hopes for BI so I'm not sure if I'll pull that trade.

I still wouldn’t just because I think that’s too much for a 1 year rental. Plus the only player I’m trading BI for is AD.

What SA was reportedly after especially to trade him in conference to the hated Lakers was reportedly higher than just them and didn't stop there. Which would make sense. But the world needed to see that dude (Kawhi) play like a superstar again and Magic and Rob needed to see what we have here following the summer work at least up to the trade deadline.

I'm sorry I don't believe any of those reports. First off Jimmy didn't want to play for the Lakers to be under LeBron's shadow. The Spurs won't trade with us, one because they despise us and second we're in conference. As far as Paul George, that guy is an a****** for everything he did to the Lakers. Screw that piece of s***.

still a steep price, but Toronto at 20-4 definitely makes you think twice.
Our depth would be hurting a bit for sure though

I hope he’s ok, but it’s pretty evident he and LeBron don’t work very well together. Both need the ball, Ingram doesn’t move enough without it. It seems apparent to me, and not from just this one game, that if any of our youth don’t fit and should be traded for a star, it’s him. I think he could work very well on another team, but right now Kuz and LeBron work way better because Kuz cuts, can catch and shoot, and the ball doesn’t stick in his hands.

That looked like it was intentional from Aldridge to me. He kept shuffling forward as he knew he couldn't get to the shot. Chicken bleep Jalen Rose stuff.

I absolutely hated Aldrirdge before this. Now I hate him even more.

And I can't believe the Lakers have been getting burned by this clown 3 times this season.

This. Especially the movement without the ball and catch and shoot.

Kuz also appears to be improving as passer and has some nice assists the last few games.

Glad they called flagrant on that. You have to give a guy a chance to land. That’s an injury 9 times out of 10. Such a d*** move tbh.

That said, what a cheap play by Aldridge last night. Definitely intentional.

Before going down he was smothering Derozan.

I agree. There was a noticeable difference in Derozan’s efficiency once Ingram left the game.

Hope BI recovers and isn't on the injury report for too long. I am on the "still have high hopes for BI" group.

But serious question though that crossed my mind....

Who do you think will be the better player 5 years from now? Luka Doncic or Brandon Ingram?

I got to say.... I think it's Luka. That kid is damn good for what he's doing as a 19 year old.

That was such a cheap-a-- move by the Spurs. Intentional for sure. Fortunately, it does not look too bad and he will be back soon. We need both his scoring and his defense. Watching Derozan score was not fun.

That sucked. Definitely on purpose by LMA. That's a dangerous play. Brandon could be out for a while. Depends on what they see in the MRI.

And somehow Rudy Gay is always rejuvenated against the Lakers.

Going from zero points to 30+ within 24 hours...
