Was Pascal Siakam in BI's draft class?

Yup. Think he was a late first round pick.

I thought he had a really nice game tonight. Don’t love the 6 turnovers, but he looked more comfortable on offense, drove to the hoop like he was to start this season and to end last season. He seems to play a little better with the bench though, a little more decisive, aggressive. I know he’s not an ideal PG, but with Rondo out we’re linited, and I thought he made some nice plays. Pounding the ball seems to be part of his game though, so we may have to just get used to that.

Outstanding game from Brandon tonight. Loved his aggressiveness. 24 points on 8 of 14 with 6 boards? Give me more of that.

Good overall game absent the turnovers. Definitely came out more aggressive and looked confident. Definitely want to see more of this.

It might the 1st time I've seen him stepped back against a big and hit a 3 . Would be a huge addition to his game

Love the game, just gotta get more consistency from game to game. But he has to get better from the free throw line, especially if he wants to continue to be aggressive going to the rim, which is exactly what I want to see.

that play really stood out to me. when he got gobert on the switch, i was like: gobert's going to give him the three, and he's going to try to drive into him and force up something ugly. or he's just going to shank the three. but no! he did what competent scorers do. nice development.

also, less ball-stopping in this one, and some nice defense, including helping from the weakside to prevent a couple gobert lobs.

Brandon is obviously reading the forum.

Loved the aggressiveness, let’s work on making that attitude more consistent. Props BI!

That's the thing @lakersyunowin ..... BI has that drive and lack of many other focus points other than being the best basketball player he can possibly be, like a Kobe Bryant, to never stop working at it.

Please Brandon for the love of God, work out with Kobe Bean Bryant. You'll get so much better you'll be unstoppable. He needs to teach you that footwork and fadeaway game.

But anyways great game continue to be aggressive minus the turnovers

I can see Ingram becoming more aggressive...and this is kinda how he started to be last year as well around January time (when he really took off).

I think Ingram started slow cuz he's still trying to figure out how to play with LeBron...as is everyone else. yes, he's not the best FIT with LeBron...but at least he's showing that he can adjust his game enough or pick his spots when LeBron is out of the game.

Does everyone remember the 2006-2009 Lakers?

Lamar Odom was the 2nd best player on the team and very inconsistent. He would have 20/10/5 one game then 4/7/3 the next 2 games...

Suddenly the Gasol trade happens, Lamar is then the 3rd best player on the team. All of a sudden he has the best year of his career and routinely got 20/15/5 while also coming off the bench. He would finish most games as the PF.

I had hopes and expectations that this would be the season where Ingram would make that leap to consistent 22/7/4 player but it’s become apparent he’s not there yet. I just have a feeling if we manage to get a second star this offseason and BI becomes #3 on the pecking order, he would suddenly blossom like how Odom did.

    Remember this?

BI can be touched, but for the right player. SA was clearly hesitant in dealing Kawhi to a Western team, especially us, otherwise doesn't a godfather deal get agreed upon?

Had we traded BI for Paula last year, if AD suddenly becomes available, would a maxed out Paula be as appealing to a rebuilding NOP or would a 21yo up and comer on a more feasible deal be more to their liking?

This BI for Beal thing is ridiculous. BI for Kemba...I can see that cause we'd be sending BI home, but If it's Kemba then any chance at a trade for AD or gunning for max free agents like Kawhi/KD go out the door.

I just don't see the rush in dealing a 21yo at this point, knowing that if we do rush a deal, it effectively closes the door on legit title contending moves this summer.

As of right now, BI is our 3rd best defensive rated player (minimum 25 minutes per). Rondo leads our team, but has a smaller sample size due to suspensions/injuries.

He's our top rated offensive player and best overall net player.

Fyi: Hart has BI beat and been balling but technically he's avg below 25mins per to BI avg 32mins per.

You just don't trade that type of potential without exhausting all avenues first.

Vas, just curious why everyone keeps throwing around a trade scenario for Kemba... is he available? If I'm Jordan I wouldn't trade him. Kemba is the reason why Charlotte is doing so well.
