I’ve admittedly been team Team BI since last season. Not ready to hit the panic button just yet, but the clock is ticking.

Likewise. I think in his case now that Lebron is here, it's like somebody from the bomb squad triggered something that changed the countdown timer from 5:00:00 to 5:00.

I never thought he should’ve been labeled untouchable. Always felt that kind of status should be earned on the floor.

There was a debate about him for Beal a little while ago. No way we could trade him for Beal or Kemba at this stage.

I really want to see him breakout since we passed on several guys for him but he hasn’t done much to ease my doubts.

As have I. BI seems like he is stuck in quicksand and can’t get free. I refuse to believe that all the hard work he did this offseason isn’t translating into growth and/or progression. As I said in the Zo thread, this roster stinks for his growth.

I'm not as worried about him as I am with Lonzo. BI still had 13/7. The shooting is still an issue though. He settles too much for midrange shots, which is the worst shot in basketball these days. You either shoot 3s or take it to the rim in terms of efficiency. His 3 is funky so he has to get to the cup with more urgency.

He still has the skills, just needs to properly utilize them. With Ball, I'm afraid he doesn't have the required innate ability.

That absolutely gets within a mile of golden state. If CP3, Harden, Tucker, Ariza and Capela take Golden state to 7 - then absolutely Rondo, Hart, Kawhi, Lebron and McGee can make some headway.

Hart is a similar level player to Ariza, Rondo is a similar level player to Tucker, Capela isn’t much better than how McGee is playing and Kawhi and Lebron are both better than either of Harden and CP3.

I would 100% take James and Kawhi over Harden and Paul, with out a doubt. Paul is looking old and Harden plays no defense and as witnessed, cokes in big moment playoff games. LeBron and Kawhi are both Finals MVP'S. With the way GS is looking,it's not out of the realm of possibility.

James + Kawhi would take them down. And with Rondo's knowledge and leadership? They would beat them in 6.

Would you include BI in a package for Bradley Beal?

I love BI but man I would do it in a heart beat.

BI is making us look like idiots for not including him in any trade talks

He has the MOST pressure of the young core and so far, he has not lived up to it at all.

He needed to be a 20ppg guy this year and he's falling well short of that.

Sorry. All I can picture now is Harden's beard dusted all white as he steps out onto the court with his eyes wide open and not blinking.

I'm not so sure he needed to be a 20ppg. There are only so many balls and possessions in a game. LeBron will rightfully get the most touches. BI is averaging 15.2 points per game on 45% shooting. Not bad. His three point shooting percentage (30%) needs to improve. BI has played 12 games. I'd like to reserve judgment until the All Star break.

If you look at his shot attempts from last year he took 12.9 shots per game. This season he is taking 13.3. He is making about the same: 6.0. In order to score more he would need to take more shots but I'm not sure that would or should happen.

Guys, why are we making excuses for BI?

    "Its only been 12 games"

"15 ppg on 45% shooting, not bad"

He's simply not living up to expectations that not only our own FO put on him, but the entire league. Remember, he was ranked 2nd behind Jamal Murray on players who are most likely to have breakout seasons (Jamal Murray not really doin much better in this category anyway)

well, it's really been like, 150 games. i do buy the "adjusting to lebron" argument more for him than for lonzo (in which case, it's some ostrich s***), but still...had hoped for a LOT more progress from the untouchable one.

The problem seems pretty obvious to me. They seem to do too many of the same things. Everyone talked about Wade and Lebron having trouble coexisting back when he made The Decision. But at least their games were somewhat different. Both Ingram and Lebron overlap too much. This is not to say they are equal obviously. But neither is a dead-eye shooter. Neither play well off the ball. Both are actually probably pgs trapped in 6'9" bodies. If we could move him, Ball, Hart and picks for AD, I'd do it in a nano-second. And yes, I'd give all that up.
