this kid shoved the reigning MVP and was more than willing to throw down with him

and he tried to hit CP3

He's earned a couple years of "benefit of the doubt" in my book

 

he would get more respect if he actually "hit" CP360, but like most of his mid-range shots, he missed lol

 

his handles are avg and no 1st step, he should just work on that shot and try to replicate the likes of Demarre Caroll, Taurean Prince, Middleton type players.

i think the first two are selling him short in terms of role, and the last one isn't a play-alike because he's a MUCH better shooter and not as good a ballhandler.

i get that the staff wants to use his ability to handle and pass off the dribble, but i think they force it and haven't spent enough time working with him on quick-hitting moves/working off the ball (feel like prince/carroll do a lot of standing around, actually). barns said it better, though.

 

That was a complaint I had of Ingram a lot last year. He needs to catch and go!

Part of it is on the training staff but he's not a quick decision maker/hasn't quick/smooth skills either

He has trouble to fire more attempts from 3 because of a slow gather and is still too much of a 1-2 guy instead of using the hop more .

He could be used better , would benefit from a better floor spacing but the truth is he's just isn't that good (hopefully yet but the clock is ticking)

 

First off, I'm a huge cheerleader of the kid, but if he's going to set up the distinction that's he's the clear #2 scoring option to Bron, then the kid really needs to step the f*** up big time.

Just like Zo, he's wildly inconsistent. Unlike Zo, his game is to be a scoring threat and he's just not getting it done as efficiently as one would hope. I understand that SwaGee and the Chandman or going to clog up the middle, but he can still be a great weakside cutter for Bron when he's playing off ball.

Speaking of which, alot is being made of when he does have the ball.. particularly iso ball...

... And I don't really see it that way. His usage %age is 12.8, which puts him at 5th on the team with Hart comfortably ahead at 4 with 20.5.

Then if you consider him overdribbling, would you consider Zo an overdribbler or is Zo more a dude that loves to zip the ball to the open man as soon as he can?

BI dribbles per possession: 2.07
Zo: 1.97

BI time of possession: 2.7
Zo: 2.5

BI avg seconds per touch: 3.13
Zo: 2.82

BI needs to score much more efficiently, but fans are making too much out of his iso ball. If anything, he needs to do it a bit more with Bron off the floor.

 

Should of packaged BI, Lonzo and Kuzma for Kawhi and we are right there with golden state.

BI has been disappointing to begin the season.

 

That doesn't get within a mile of GSW. Especially with no bench, since the two best players from our current bench are in your starting lineup.

one of bi or ball or both really need to play more w/o james, not that james is the problem but both bi/zo just stand around n watch when playing next to james alot of the times
