Is that true? Did that rift occur because of the executive‘s sexuality? Just curious, never heard this story before.

Dude is so afraid of late game free throws he let Kuz take the technical. Greatest player ever lets someone else take the tech? Please. LeBron makes me appreciate Kobe even more.

Carter locked down Lebron like Lebron was KCP and Vince was the American penal system. A bit of a worry.

    Unpopular opinion:

I don’t care what the stats say, one of two things are happening...

Either LeBron is starting to slow down and looking mortal with age, or he was never as good as I gave him credit for. How does the best player of all time miss two possibly game winning free throws down the stretch? Remember when LeBron use to drive to the hole and looked like he could do it at will, and no one could stop him (Pepridge Farms remembers)? I get that we don’t have the shooters some of his teams have had to space the floor, but he’s not even getting past his primary defender a lot of the time. That’s why he keeps shooting those step back 3s, it’s because he doesn’t seem to have the foot speed to just blow past his defender anymore. And it’s not just this game, he’s looked very mortal in most of the games.

I also get that it’s just 13 games into the season, but this is what I’ve seen so far. LeBrons going to have to show me something different to change my mind. I am severely doubting this “he’s just saving himself for later in the season and playoffs” notion. Saving yourself shouldn’t effect if you can get past your primary defender at any point in the season.

So far having LeBron on the Lakers is just confirming my belief that Kobe was better is in fact true.

Bron is not washed yet, there's still another gear he can go to. He just needs rest. If I recall from the past, isn't he known to take rest vacations in the middle of the season? And after he's rested, he usually plays at a higher level? I think he just needs a good dose of rest and he'll start to play better. But I don't expect him to rest sometime around January, so he's ready for the post-season.

In all seriousness, I do think LeBron is saving a higher gear for the post-season. It might just be optimism.

But was/is he better than Kobe? It's a matter of choice, probably. If we can agree that Kobe and 'Bron impact the game at a similar magnitude (yet done differently), would you rather: have a guy who has a better all-around game for 48 mins but is shaky in the last 5... or a guy who is leans on shoot-first tendencies at a lower %, but is absolute money in the last 5 mins? I prefer the latter, so far.

    LeChoke.

We desperately meeded a back up center and got Chandler. Now we desparately need a closer, who's out there?
