    Too many players Lebron watch

If they would just move, he’d find them.

Yeah. Probably too they are still learning him and not sure what he is going to do next, and therefore where to go. Kuz seems to be the most natural so far in that regard.

It’s only fair to criticize Zo tonight, aside from the typical solid defense, he was bad. He’s yet again shying away from contact, refusing to attack the hoop, averaging 1 fta per game, and that has to change. It’s really weird, he seems to have been playing way better when Rondo was suspended, like more free, and now he looks lost again. I also could be reading too much into it, but one timeout when Zo walked to the bench, Rondo was there trying to talk to him and he kind of walked on by and brushed him off, starting to wonder if there’s some friction there. It’s just what I’m seeing, Zo isn’t the same with him around, and thank goodness they didn’t share any time on the floor tonight, because that doesn’t work at all.

Yeah it's concerning how up and down Zo has been and since Rondo has come back...he's been very timid offensively.

Also, I've noticed that Zo just doesn't play well on the road...

Zo isn't a good player at all when he's not fully engaged and tonight he cared a little ....

Let's all hope that it isn't some s*** Lavar whispers in his ear, that got him against RR... if there is any friction, that is.

He's not making a strong case to remain a starter comparing how he and Rondo played (and led) tonight

I love Lonzo, but tonight he was somewhere else in his head. Props to Luke for sitting him like he did.

I don't love Lonzo. Ball just doesn't look like a star. Too many invisible games, not aggressive enough, shot is weird, etc.

His shot is falling more consistently but he doesn't really jump out as a guy that has made a significant improvement from his rookie season.

I'm sure there are reasons for his struggles. It's just that I don't care. All I care about is your performance during games.

    Just doesn't have it. Period.

9 games into his sophomore season.

This'll be a funny post in like 3 months.

Ultimately, I’d like for Zo to watch film of last night’s game with Rondo over and over again and see how Rondo led the team. This is how Zo can and will lead the team. I’ve seen Zo play exactly like this, so I know what he is capable of. he needs to embrace whatever role he has on the team and just play like he knows how, whether he starts, comes off their bench or plays 15 minutes, just play your game my dude.

I'm not sure what I think. A fellow I know who played professionally for 10 years and now coaches says that he doesn't think Lonzo will have a long career in the league because of the holes in his game and his susceptibility for injury. That might be true. My argument is that he's still young and has a lot of maturing both physically and mentally to do. This fellow said it is so hard to stick in the league and Lonzo needs to work his tail end off to succeed. However, the fellow believes that the foundation is there for him to be successful. He has to want it... like Kobe to overcome the shortcomings.

As for improvement, I feel that he is has gotten better... especially his shot. He defers to much and is a little passive at times. However, I love the man's defense and his court vision. Incredible to watch!

He's not a half court maestro like Rondo yet though. Till he improves whatever penetration problems he has. And yes of course pun intended.

There are very few players over generations with that "seek, humiliate and destroy" mentality 24 had. I do like that Ball spends more effort on defense. Someone here said that the third year is when we'll know if the player has "it" both physically and mentally.

I personally do think Lonzo will have a long career. He is definitely an nba player. His D and his passing are gold. What I'm saying is that the reality is that he doesn't look like a star. He'll be good. I just dont think he'll ever put this team on his back and take them to promise land. If anybody think that (obviously plenty here do) they'll be up for a rude awakening.

Good player? Yes. But I expected at least an all-star and he doesn't look like one.
