That play where he popped the ball loose twice on Jokic in the paint: huge winning basketball plays.

    Happy Ballday everyone.

That sounds weirder than I thought.

Wonder if they keep Hart in too. Would be one step forward and one step back if not.

I always knew eventually Zo would be a starter this season. Just didn't expect it to be so soon. Thank you Rondo for punching Chris Paul!!! He's the perfect starting pg for this team especially with LeBron. Our turnovers are at a minimal with him running the show as well. I think it was the Phoenix game where we had no turnover for 36 minutes. Amazing.

I really like what I see from him on the defensive end. In the second quarter he fought through a screen and got real excited clapping for the defender to go at him. You can’t teach that kind of desire for defence, some guys just got it.

His defense is still so surprising to me, mostly how quick his hands are to get deflections. Also his crazy acceleration he randomly does that gives us a fast break from a made basket.

I am so happy we didn’t trade him for Lillard or some other player. I would’ve been soooo sad. This is what I saw last year. While everyone was harping on his weird shot, bad efficiency, and sucky free throw shooting, I was looking at his defense, vision, speed, and decision making. Those are the things that can’t be taught, you can’t train those better.

He’ll get better at free throws, shooting, and efficiency, but he definitely made a believer out of me and now I see him as the future of this team. He’s only going to get better, stronger, smarter, etc. It’s pretty scary actually.

Why has he gone back to being a black hole on offense since Rondo has returned?:KobeConfused:

L.A. was outscored by 11 points with Ball on the court against the Wolves and has now been outscored by 44 points with Ball on the court this season, the worst plus-minus of any Lakers player, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.

Ball was asked about this and he said "I'm just not doing my job".

I know he is just coming back from surgery and so forth...but its time to step up.

Rondo deserved to finish that game last night. Ball just wasn't with it all night. Your shot can be off but Lonzo is capable of so much more in how he can effect a game. That wasn't happening

I was hoping he’d grow from having these games where he doesn’t seem to be on the same planet as everyone else.

He's also been relegated to a spot up player on offense. It's easy to say he needs to assert himself, but that's not his game. Coaches need to do a better job of putting the ball in his hands to initiate instead of just having him stand around. We got all these ballhandlers to take the load off Lebron, but we're still employing a lot of the Cleveland style offense.

I understand it’s all part of the growing and understanding process, but Lonzo needs to be the primary ball handler. And I don’t think him and Rondo should be on the floor together at the same time. That doesn’t work, neither of them are spot up type players. Rondo is Ball when Ball isn’t on the court and Ball is Rondo when Rondo is not on the court, they both don’t need to be on the court, but that’s just me.

I agree, they are similar players. I don’t see why they have to play together. Lonzo is not a shooting guard.

Such a true statement. All Zo does is running up and down the floor and spot up. This is NOOOOT his game. Having him in the same lineup with Rondo also a colossal mistake.
