My bad, looking at it again I could read how you were just being sarcastic. My sarcasm meter must have not been working or malfunctioned when I first read it.
100% this. I remember back on Club Lakers years and years of b****ing about Phil Jackson, and how his substitutions were trash, and he would always start the wrong players, even while we were winning championships. There's always something to complain about. I've seen quotes in the Doom thread from Boston fans b****ing about Stevens too. Sorry I don't buy it. We will see, but I like Luke.
Just like last year... with Nance and Randle. If not for suspension he wouldn't let Kuz loose. Same for Hart. Screw that dude.
What is it this year ..... Lakers get 1/3 less calls when they are hammered going to the basket? WTF.
Whether BI and RR are back or not, we should start games: Zo Hart Kuz Bron McGee All while playing KCP as short as possible
I don't know how one can say BI is a better player... I really can't. Even if Kuz was NOTHING on D, his offensive game out-weights whatever ISO b******* BI is normally RELEGATED doing (because of our AMAZING offensive schemes). Like, the amount of push it gives the team ... Kuz and Hart should be playing as much as possible.
What you saw at the end of the game there - the difference between the last shot SA got and the last shot we got - that's the difference between good/bad offensive coaching. An out of bounds play is a free way to get your team a decent look, like what Mills got. You'll see Stevens especially take advantage of it. That shot at the end was s***.
I can respect that kind of response @ presser. Kudos. Offensive schemes that look like s*** -- not so much.
Luke will get a whole season and I've been one of the main guys preaching patience, but we simply can't remain last in the league on defense.
I’m not going to argue the scheme issue with you because your mind is already made up. But to blame Luke for the last play is just your agenda on display. The play was exactly what it should be 100% of the time for the next 4 years. Put the ball in the hands of the best player in the league and let him create a win. It’s what we did for 20 years with Kobe. It’s what Chicago did with Jordan. It’s what we did with Magic. LeBron got the ball above the three point line where he likes it. It’s on him whether to drive, pass or take the long three. He chose to live or die as the hero. That’s on him not Luke.
Yep, I'm glad he said something because that's what all of us were thinking on some of those plays which were the same kind of calls Harden and Paul were getting. For anyone that missed it here it is. You don't have to watch the entire interview. Luke's vent is from the start of the video to like the 1:30 min mark.
